  1. @GunerX: You also need to keep the two meta VLC dll files in the Plugins folder. They were included with the CZ theme. I don't see those in your screenshot. Did you delete them? Also, I think renaming the theme folder as you did to include "NEW DLL" will cause problems.
  2. Yes, the DS and 3DS are special cases. I don't currently have a solution for those. Do you have a source of single screen vids for those platforms? It looks like those on emumovies are dual screen. I think I'll embed a logo or something in the second screen so it doesn't just look empty. As for Virtual Boy, no problem I can create a view for that. Thanks for the feedback!
  3. @GunerX: While I don't normally use playlist vids, I was able to show it works on my system with CZ version 2. I'm using a current build of the Ao.Bigbox.Themer plugin. I've been making quite a few changes to the plugin library lately and don't recall when I might have changed code related to playlists and the video engine. Please test your setup with this version of the plugin; just replace Ao.Bigbox.Themer.dll in the CriticalZoneV2 - BlueBox\Plugins with this one: Ao.Bigbox.Themer.dll You will probably need to unblock the dll; right-click on the dll file after you download it and press the unblock button. Below is how I setup the Playlists folders for my test. My playlists are called Ao.Bigbox.Random, etc. For a playlist with multiple vids, create a folder with the playlist name and drop the videos in that folder. For a single video, you don't need a subfolder but can use one if you want. When I select a playlist and then go to a games view that supports dynamic background videos (e.g., Horizontal Wheel 1), the playlist video(s) play as the background. Please let me know if it works for you.
  4. In my experience with fonts as resources, you have to reiterate the definition for the font family within the actual view in which you use the font. <FontFamily x:Key="FontTitle">/Hexxxer.Futurestate.Resources;Component/Fonts/#Spartan</FontFamily>
  5. @GunerX Thanks for the update. I don't have the time I expected tonight, but I'll dig into this issue over the weekend.
  6. Should've been more clear when I said that. I meant the root of the drive it's currently on, F:\LaunchBox\... Should be a quick move. Fyi gotta get to work but I'll check in later today.
  7. @GunerX: Cid is excellent at troubleshooting, and there is probably very little I can add to the discussion here. I just got to work, but when I'm home later I'll take another look at this thread to see if I have any ideas.
  8. That's a great catch Charco, but I don't think it's the issue. Still, it would be easy to check if @GunerX would temporarily move his LaunchBox folder to the root dir.
  9. Well that's progress of sorts! I know how to fix that new problem, will get back to you later today @Retro808.
  10. Hey Retro. Great explanation and screenshots, really helped a lot. I was able to replicate this issue and added a fix to the library. Replace Ao.Bigbox.Themer.dll in the theme's Plugins directory with the following one. You'll have to unblock this file like you did the theme. Please let me know if it works for you, and I'll roll it into the next update. Ao.Bigbox.Themer.dll
  11. Really glad you like the theme! Thanks for trying out the alpha; feedback will help me fix the bugs. There is only one Platform Wheel view in this theme. Do you mean the text-based view or something else? Which version of the theme are you using? I recently posted v0.96a to fix some playlist issues, albeit not the one you mention above -- you're the first to mention that one. P.s I'm shutting down for the night, but I'll look at this more tomorrow. Thanks again.
  12. Great! For the CPS-1 issue, check the @INDEX file in the Images\AVLF\Playlists folders. The images on the left are referenced according to columns 3 and 4. Column 4 allows you to specify an additional string to reference the background images, so you can add "Capcom Play System" or "Capcom Play System I" in column 4 next to "Capcom Classics" to add a second key for this image. Alternatively, you can add a row for the "Capcom Play System I.png" file -- it will have the same values for column 2 (position of the device's screen) as other similar backgrounds. I'll have to add some docs so everyone knows how to edit these files to accommodate their specific setup. For the @INDEX files included with the theme, I tried to use the common/default names as per LB. The names of the images don't really matter, but columns 3 and 4 matter and should match up with how your LB database is setup.
  13. @neil9000, @UnderwoodNC: Posted an update (v0.96a) that addresses the playlist problem. I populated an @INDEX file with the playlist backgrounds used for mame. Please verify it works on your systems. The related total games bug should also be squashed.
  14. Yes, that was exactly the issue. Good call!
  15. No worries at all! I'd be surprised if there aren't more issues on the horizon.
  16. @UnderwoodNC: this is also the issue you described. It's fixed now, but my ISP has not been working today. Once it's back online I can post an update. Thanks again for letting me know about the issue.
  17. Nice, thanks for testing it! Regarding the total games, that is included in the item on the platform/filt/cat view that says "Completed x of y Games". Sorry that wasn't clear. Is that the info you had in mind? PS. The total count was broken (was counting all in the category not the playlist) related to the same issue in the next post below. Both of these issues are fixed now.
  18. Updated (v0.95a) with bug fixes and new features -- please see the download page. Please use the support button on the download page for any comments. I think I'll abandon this thread and just follow on the download page. Thanks again for all the feedback! It was very helpful.
  19. @keltoigael @neil9000 @Omen @Rincewind @UnderwoodNC Updated with bugfixes and new features to address the issues raised. Thanks again for your feedback.
  20. I don't think so, but let me check. We'll find a way to get it working. PS. No worries at all, I really appreciate the feedback to help find and fix the bugs!
  21. Thanks for the report . Yes, that's probably it. I call it Nintendo NES. There's a mechanism in that platform mapping file to override that and use the name for your setup. I should probably make it default to "Nintendo Entertainment System" for the release. I'll have to document the use of that mapping file, too, in case someone has a really off the wall platform name they want to use.
  22. I should be able to make it work for that use case; you'll be the guinea pig. Thanks again for helping me troubleshoot. When I have a potential fix, I'll send it your way for testing.
  23. @keltoigael: Also, what RA core do you use for those other Sega platforms. I can add core-specific icons for those. Looks like you use mednafen for saturn.
  24. Thanks for the report @keltoigael. Looks like a problem with the mapping for platform to background image. Please check the AVLF subfolders of Views\Images. I don't think I included backgrounds for those Sega platforms. I have these backgrounds ready to go at home and can fix that later. When the platform's background is not found, a default is used in this case MS Windows; a second problem is that the video is not being positioned appropriately in this default background. That should be an easy fix, too, and I'll post an update today or tomorrow. Please let me know if you find anything else.
  25. @Rincewind The error suggests a problem finding a platform video. Do you have videos for all your platforms? Where are they stored? I can certainly trap that error and prevent it from displaying and crashing BB but let's see if we can track down the cause.
