  1. I forgot about controller layout, that is very important too. The easiest way would probably be a new image category, one that is available for both platforms and games. So if a game doesn't have a controller layout image, it will default to the platform controller layout image. This would allow everyone to create their own layouts, with any look they want. It would also allow for users to go as deep into making layouts as they want. If you just want platform layouts you could do that, but if certain games have a different layout, you could show that for that game. Or even make layouts for every game if you wanted. If it is an image category, I think it should be view-able on it's own via an option like "View Controller Layout", and shouldn't show up with the "View images full screen" option, if possible.
  2. One other very important feature for the pause screen, Xbox Guide button support. You should be able to invoke the pause screen by pressing the Guide button, or better yet, have the option to use the Guide button as a shift key, and then another button to invoke pause. So let's say Hold Guide and press Start for pause. That's how I currently have RetroArch setup, and it would be amazing to do the same in BB.
  3. A pause screen is the most important feature to me. The ability to exit the game, and view game manuals is the main reason I want it. I don’t really care about other RocketLauncher features like save states. Just a uniform menu for exiting games would really round out the BigBox experience.
  4. Yes to all of this! I literally was thinking of asking for these features the other day. I’d love to have programs/games in the root category. Having the ability to add to favorites, rate, and mark as broken while locked is also high on my list of features I’d love.
  5. No rush, I figured out that if you add a custom config with the plugin you can then edit the command line options.
  6. Yeah that's what I'm thinking. If I launch the game right after adding my own command line augments it will work, but only once. This makes me think the plugin is changing the command line option shortly after each edit.
  7. I think it's a glitch with the PCSX2 Configurator plugin, as I don't have issues with any other platform, and the issue stops if I use the PCSX2 Configurator to set up a custom config.
  8. @Jason Carr I'm not sure if this is a new bug, but I can't get "Use Custom Command-Line Parameters" to save in the "Edit Game"/Emulation menu. It will apply the command line parameter the first time I launch the game, but not after. If I go back to edit it, the custom commands are gone.
  9. The file is called "Sony Playstation.png", and is located in the normal image folder (Launchbox\Images\Playlists\Sony Playstation Favorites\Clear Logo). I believe it was added with the interface, but it was so long ago I can't remember. I used to have a Category called "Favorites" that had a favorites playlist for each of my systems. I moved each one to their respective system category (Sony/ Sony PlayStation/Sony Playstation Favorites) once nested folders was implemented, and that's when the issue started happening. If I clear cache and go to say NES Favorites it will then be the clear logo for NES Favorites for every other platform. I'm not sure if this helps but the Unique Name for each is for example "Sony Playstation Favorites" while the Nested name is just "Favorites", could that be causing the issue?
  10. @Jason Carr I have an issue in Big Box that I think is related to the image cache. I have a Favorites playlist for each individual console, and each playlist has it's own clear logo. If I go first to let's say PlayStation Favorites, the clear logo will be correct, but if I back out and go to any other platform's favorites playlist, the clear logo will still be for PlayStation. The only way to fix this is to clear the image cache, but then it will do the exact same thing with whichever platform I go to first.
  11. You are the man! My nearly 3 minute startup time is down to 15 seconds! You are a master at what you do. ?
  12. Before this feature was released I only had about 75 playlists. With this feature I don't think 1000+ playlists will be fringe at all.
  13. @Jason Carr I've noticed if I disable Auto Populate in each playlist there is a significant startup speed increase. I tried bulk disabling it for each playlist with Notepad++ but I noticed the games aren't saved then, and Auto Populate must be disabled from within LB in order to save the currently populated games. Would it be possible to add an Auto Populate check mark, and if left unchecked then LB would created the playlists, populate them, but not enable Auto Populate for those playlists? It seems populating the playlists at every launch is causing huge startup delays.
  14. The funny part is this is after I removed developer and publisher playlists, when I had those I had nearly 4000 playlists and LB took about 5 full minutes to load. ?
  15. After adding about 1600 playlists LB now takes nearly 3 minutes to load, it used to only take about 20 seconds max to load. I think I'm going to have to delete some playlists. My CPU is a 4790k, I guess it's age is catching up to it.
  16. I already started adding playlists to platform sub categories, I am so happy to see that everything I did is the same way you've implemented it! I thought everything I did was in vain, but it seems gamer minds think alike! ?
  17. Awesome! That will be even better than I had hoped, I never imagined it would be themable!
  18. Any chance the pause menu will be the next major feature after your hiatus? Also when you do get to the pause menu, will the community be able to make suggestions on what the menu contains?
  19. Unique Name has to be something unique from everything else, Nested Name is the name you want it to say in LB, and can be anything you want, even the same as existing entries.
  20. Yeah I'll just wait for the next beta, I'm also having issues with my categories being out of order in BB, but Jason says a fix is coming for that also.
  21. Damn that sounds like a ton of work, I guess I better get started now lol. Thank you for finding a solution to this issue. ?
  22. This explains my missing Favorites and Playlists categories. They weren't empty but have disappeared for some reason, and I get the error about it already existing when I try and add them. I can't wait for the fix that adds them to the root.
  23. Haha I'm hoping for the pause menu.
  24. Awesome, that's exactly how I was hoping it would work. ?
