    @Jason Carr is there a way to use "Launch With" with additional apps? So lets say I have a combined game, and want to play a specific version with a specific emulator. I can't find a way to do this?

    Haha ain't that the truth! I usually end up in last place when I play online, I don't know how some of those players react so fast!

    Same here, Red Dead is the holy grail for me lol. If you have PS4 check out the Wipeout Omega Collection, it's excellent. It recently got a patch for PSVR support, and it's insane!

    @Jason Carr The new Retroarch implementation doesn't allow for custom configs as it only has a drop down box now. Can you please add the ability to fill in the "core" with whatever the user wants? I use one core for multiple systems, each with their own config. While my current systems are unaffected (they show up in the drop down with config info), I cannot add any new systems with the new implementation.

    I must have missed that line, that makes it all worthwhile then. Speed increases and looks are secondary for me as well. I'm eagerly awaiting many of the items from the poll, especially the pause screen, I think it will be a game changer for frontends.

    I'm sure it will bring a lot of benefits, especially for those with weaker systems. LB and BB have never been slow for me, so I'm always confused by all of the posts about massive speed improvements. Granted my collection is relatively small, but all of my games have complete artwork (Box, Clear Logo, Disc/Cart, and video preview), which I would imagine should add some strain to LB, but everything has always been extremely fast for me.

    I won't lie, as someone who doesn't use LB outside of editing my collection (I use BB for launching games), I'm a bit disappointed by this news. It seem the stuff on the poll will take even longer to get implemented.

    Yeah, I usually just screenshot the cover to get the art. I also had to use JoyToKey for controller support. I wish there was a way to set LaunchBox as the emulator and just use it's built in PDF reader.

    I have magazines as their own platform, same with books, comics, and multimedia. You could also make a platform for each publication and then group them into a magazine category. I use SumatraPDF as the emulator.

    James you can play the victim all you want but no one is trolling you. Honestly it's Jason's business, he should be able to conduct his polls however he pleases. I'm happy he even gives his customers the time of day, many business owners don't.

    Will you be doing live streams again when working on some of these features? I'm sure many of us Rocket Launcher users have a few ideas for the Pause and Launch screens

    You can copy the modules you want to edit and rename the copied directory and all of it's files to something different, like "Retroarch - Edited" or whatever you want. Then go into the new edited module's directory and open the .ahk file. Look for something like: iCRC := "66666666" MID := "6666666666666666666" And delete all off the digits in quotes so it looks like: iCRC := "" MID := "" Now you can update RL without it overwriting your new edited modules.

    I'm with you on his, I can't wait to be done with RL. The Pause screen is the main reason I use it, once LB has that I'm done with RL. I like you am absolutely afraid to update RL for the exact same reason.

    That's not what this plugin is for, nor is it what I'm talking about. This plugin is to launch your roms via Steam, to gain steam's big picture features while playing your roms. This plugin is not for launching Steam games. What do you mean, the controller configurator? That sucks I still would have liked to use it for the ability to show what I'm playing on Steam.

    Unfortunately it doesn't work with RocketLauncher, RL throws an error that the default emulator is not set, even though it is.

    If you add Retroarch as an emulator it comes up as a luanch with option for every game, no need for a case-by-case basis. In fact you don't even need to use launch with once you add Retroarch to LB, the Netplay option shows up once RA is added. The only issue I'm having is RA won't load custom configurations when I launch directly through LB.

    That will work perfect, thanks Jason! I mainly use Rocket Launcher for the pause menu, to exit emulators, but Retroarch has that ability built in.

    I use Retroarch but I have Launchbox go through RocketLauncher to launch everything, I'm guessing I won't be able to use netplay the way my setup is configured? It doesn't even show up as an option since Rocketlauncher is listed as my emulator in LB.
