  1. My testing results so far (Cemu, Demul, and Dolphin seem to have the worst issues from what I've tried): Cemu: Some games no longer boot when launched from LB/BB , but boot fine from Cemu (Edit: Seems to be the same issue @Wanderer189 is having, disabling startup screens fixes the issue). Other games boot fine from LB/BB. For those games Pause activates and deactivates fine but the game continues to run in the background. CxBx Reloaded: Pause activates and deactivates fine, but the game runs in the background while the pause screen is active. Demul: Pause activates fine but the screen is black after deactivating Pause, and the game continues to run in the background. Dolphin: Pause activates fine but the screen is black after deactivating Pause, and the game continues to run in the background. NullDC: Works perfectly. PCSX2: Works perfectly. PPSSPP: Sometimes it takes 2-5 seconds to activate, other times it's instant, but works perfectly besides that. Raine: Pause activates and deactivates fine but the game continues to run in the background. RetroArch: Works perfectly. RPCS3: Sometimes it takes 2-5 seconds to activate, other times it's instant, but works perfectly besides that. Xenia (D3D 12): Works perfectly. Yuzu: Works perfectly.
  2. Yup, those are both the reasons I use it.
  3. @Jason Carr Would it be possible to make controller automation compatible with the Xbox Guide button, so that the guide button could be used as the Hold button? The button guide button is vk07sc000 instead of joy1, joy2, ect.
  4. I’ve never had any issues with RA’s configs, they’ve never gotten scrambled or anything.

Umm did you forget to hit “submit reply” a year ago?
  6. I did, for some reason I thought you mentioned DS4Windows already, so I deleted my post. Check out DS4Windows, it will make the DS4 look like an Xbox controller in Windows.
  7. Haha yup, I also have Damien from The Omen as my avatar. Lol it went over my head too for a sec... Then I remembered my screen name. ?
  8. The pause screen is my most anticipated feature.
  9. Awesome, thank you man!
  10. @Jason Carr is it possible for startup screens to show images that are contained in a platform's "Device" folder (example: "Launchbox\Images\Platforms\Atari 2600\Device"), instead of what's in the "Fanart" folder? I tried changing: <Image Source="{Binding BackgroundImagePath}" to: <Image Source="{Binding DeviceImagePath}" but that didn't work.
  11. Awesome theme, can you have it show platform backgrounds when there isn't a video available?
  12. 4 GB is insanely low. LB caches all artwork as it encounters it, so even if someone isn't playing, attract mode alone will use up memory over time. That doesn't mean there is a memory leak, it means your system isn't able to keep up. Honestly 8GB is a low amount of RAM these days.

Thanks man, I hope your holiday was good.
  14. If I remember correctly EmuMovies was hacked awhile back and they still haven't recovered from the hack which has caused a ton of issues. They are often offline lately, and that is probably the reason you are having issues, not LaunchBox.

@keltoigael is there any way to change the fonts? Mainly the font for the titles, but if I could change both fonts that would be nice. Before I just wouldn't install the fonts, but now they seem to be coded into the theme.
  16. A year or so ago you implemented a hold button method for selecting random games, that may be what he's talking about.
  17. LaunchBox 12_15_2018 5_09_02 PM.mp4 I have this exact same issue when editing platforms, categories, and playlists. If I edit one and then try to edit another too soon, it will bounce back to the first item I edited. This often causes me to accidentally edit the first item again. I assume it's because I have a ton of playlists and categories (I went a little nuts with the new nesting and playlist features lol), and my PC takes a second to save the changes. Once it's saved the changes it goes back to that original item. This didn't happen when I didn't have a ton of playlists and categories, so I assume my PC is just unable to keep up. It's a minor annoyance, but not one I can blame on LB, but more my PC.
  18. There is a Toggle Complete plugin that adds that functionality to Big Box, here:
  19. Yup that was it, thank you! I used Notepad++ to change IsAutogenerated to true and now those playlists are hidden.
  20. @Jason Carr Auto Populated playlists are still showing up in the Add to Playlist menu.
  21. @Jason Carr It seems a lot of people want the start screens to say up for a bit longer. Would it be possible to add an option for a execution delay time? A slider just like the delay time but it delays the execution of the rom/emulator for whatever the given amount of time is.
  22. @GreenGriffon "Arcade - Control Panel" or "Arcade - Controls Information" seems like the perfect image category for this.
  23. That’s not what he is talking about, he is saying that with the new playlist generator, there are too many to manage with the existing system. Playlists need a folder structure or an option to hide a playlist from the add to option.
  24. I use Guide and Start because I have multiple shortcuts that are activated by pressing Guide and another button. This is my setup: Guide + Start: Pause Screen Guide + D Pad Up: Toggles Bezels Guide + LB: Changes my primary display to my TV Guide + RB: Changes my primary display to my monitor Guide + B: Turns off the controller Guide + Back (select): Emulator Specific shortcut, in Cemu it toggles TV/Gamepad screen. In PCSX2 it Toggles between hardware and software rendering. This will also be the way I access RetroArch's Pause screen after BB get's it's own Pause. Guide + L3: Runs a script that closes all emulators, BigBox, and any other emulator related programs, and then re launches BigBox. Good for when everything locks up. Guide + R3: Closes all emulators. Basically an emergency kill switch like above, but it only kills emulators, not BigBox or anything else. These shortcuts are why it's very important for me to have an option to use the Guide button as a shift key. Though I could use AHK to do the same function if need be.
