  1. Hi @GiuseppeIII. The error seems to be caused by needing to unblock the plugin in each theme that is located in the Coverbox\Plugin folder. You can right click the plugin files, go into properties, and find the unblock option. You pretty much figured out the scanline issue. You can try to use the following picture instead. Just overwrite the scanline image with this one. Let me know if it looks okay. The path should be something like Themes\Coverbox\Images\Theme\ I also see that the game list is larger because of the resolution change as well. You can fix this by opening the following file in a text editor and changing the font size: Coverbox\Views\TextListView.xaml Find this line, and change the FontSize to something smaller, to suit your resolution: <lbsc:GameList Name="Items" FontSize="32"> You'll need to do this for every Coverbox theme you would like to use.
  2. CoverBox - Atari 2600 has been released.
  3. Another update. This time the focus was on updating the Wii theme and releasing the WiiU theme. This update includes the following: CoverBox - Wii v1.1 - Updated to include the centered list box and splash page CoverBox - Wii Ware v1.1 - Updated to include the centered list box and splash page CoverBox - WiiU v1.0 - Brand new theme for the WiiU platform (thanks to Broskiplays for original mod of my Wii theme)
  4. A bunch of the Sega themes have been updated to include all the new features, including centered game lists, scan lines, splash pages, etc. Each theme will also come in 2 versions. The first versions include the game list, game box and cart/disc animations, while the second versions keep the game list in the forefront for use with game options. Affected themes include: CoverBox - 32X (version 1.1) CoverBox - Dreamcast (version 1.1) CoverBox - Genesis Red (version 1.1) CoverBox - Mega Drive Blue (version 1.2) CoverBox - Sega CD (version 1.2) CoverBox - Sega Saturn (version 1.2) This update also includes a new theme: CoverBox - Game Gear. Enjoy!
  5. CoverBox - PS2 has been released.
  6. Yes, that is the way it was designed. As it is supposed to represent an N64 Game cover.
  7. Today, I updated the Master System, GameBoy, GameBoy Color, and GameBoy Advance to include some of the new enhancements, like centered lists, scan lines and splash pages. More updates and new systems to come.
  8. PS2 is coming soon.
  9. Thanks @harryoke. I'm still around though. I actually started altering some stuff with this recently. I'll be finishing updating the older themes, make some alternate views, and add a few more in the process. Watch this space.
  10. I just tested it with the copy I have and I can't seem to find the issue. I also downloaded the copy from the download page, and was unable to find the issue with any of the views as well. Do you think you could have an outdated file somewhere?
  11. Hi @Jake612. Try: LaunchBox\Images\Platforms\{platform}\Fanart\ Where {platform} is the name of a specific platform. example for NES: LaunchBox\Images\Platform\Nintendo Entertainment System\Fanart\Nintendo-Entertainment-System.jpg
  12. Thanks for letting me know. This has been fixed.
  13. Awesome @Scratcher! I just updated Retrotastic. Made a couple fixes and added a 4th view that removes the box and cart/disc. I've also added an alternate version of the theme called Retrotastic Quick that makes the appearance of the theme elements much quicker. Let me know if anyone finds any issues with them and I'll fix them up.
  14. Sorry guys, just came back from vacation and saw all of this. Before I released Retrotastic, I actually made a version similar to this, but just never released it. Maybe I can get to packaging this together at some point to release it as an alternative version. This theme uses @eatkinola's plugin to display video. Maybe he can comment on what may be going on. I spent the morning trying to duplicate this and haven't been able to. Which versions of Windows do you guys use? Unfortunately, this is actually not quite a bug. Game specific backgrounds only overlay on top of the platform/playlist background, and doesn't replace it. This is written in the documentation where it states: "The background will overlay on top of the platform background (not replace it). When creating these backgrounds, make sure you keep in mind of where theme elements are positioned"
  15. You will also want to delete it from the theme's cache, which is located here: LaunchBox\Themes\Retrotastic\Plugins\Ao.Bigbox.Themer.v3_8\LaunchboxImageCache

  18. Ok, I figured this out for you, but it required a plugin for it to work. Here's how you can install it: Download this plugin, developed by Eatkinola. Ao.Bigbox.Themer.v3_8.dll Make sure to unblock the pulgin, you can find instructions for that here: Place the file in the RetroFresh plugins folder: LaunchBox\Themes\RetroFresh\Plugins Now, Download the TextGamesView.xaml file, and place it in the following folder (be sure to overwrite): LaunchBox\Themes\RetroFresh\Views TextGamesView.xaml
  19. So you would like the text games view to play the platform video in the background.

Awesome, glad you figured out the solution.
  21. Sure, I can do this. Which view are you wanting the background platform videos implemented in?
  22. This wouldn't be too hard, when I have some time, I could PM you a way to do this.
  23. Hi @johnugamer. Do you mean that you want the playlist background to be displayed on the game selection pages, instead of game specific backgrounds?
  24. You are on fire! I've added compressed versions of all the new ones to the first post.
  25. lol, the more the merrier. Here's a video showing off how these game specific background/graphics look in the theme:
