  1. Can always put together something like this if you want.
  2. I'm sure I will get there eventually.
  3. At some point you're going to be wrong. But not today. Here is a sneak peak.

Hi @greengeek. Bigbox uses whatever you've set your main image in Launchbox. Open up Launchbox and select the arcade platform. Find the "Image Type" drop down and change it to whatever you like. Bigbox will display whatever you choose there. Hopefully that helps.
  5. I'm not quite sure, as the videos just use the basic code the default theme would use. Do you know if these videos in question work in other themes?
  6. I've got 2 issues I'm hoping someone knows how to solve: I need a way to change the text size of the text list box. Any changes I try to make in the ListBoxItemStyle.xaml or ListBoxStyle.xaml seem to not be effective. Anyone notice that the text list box seems to never have the border on the right side? I need to get it to show, but I can't seem to figure out how. You can see that it's missing if you try to add a border around each text item, or try to add a corner radius. The right side seems to always be transparent/missing, while the other sides show. Any help is appreciated.

That's what I thought. And judging by the box of the Super Game Boy. It's essentially just a SNES game box.

Hi @Juan-K. Is this an actual thing? I thought the Super Gameboy just used Gameboy games, and it's not an actual system.

At first I thought I was using the default, but then I remembered that I changed it a while back to the NES Classic sounds.

  11. Here you go. I'll just post the files here unless there's enough interest to release them as official variants. CoverBox - N64 2.zip CoverBox - Gamecube 3.zip
  12. Sometime this weekend, I can definitely make you a version of those 2 without the clear logos.
  13. Which theme were you thinking of?
  14. Thanks @brenavich980. You can actually accomplish this in the options menu. You can select a different theme for each game system if you want.
  15. Version 1.1 has been released with a number of changes. Platform View Added a peak feature for the wheel. When idle for a couple seconds, the wheel will hide itself at the bottom of the screen peaking out a little so you can remember where you were in the menu The wheel now fades to 40% instead of 10% Game View Replaced the orange-yellow highlight selector with a gradient border selector (requested by @Lordmonkus) Added the box cover to this view. It animates from the right side after 3 seconds (requested by @bundangdon)

I think I have a solution for this for the next release.

That is the BigBox Cinematix - Consoles Category video. You can download it in LaunchBox by going to Tools > Download Platform/Playlist Theme Videos...

I believe, if there isn't a video, the default action is to show a screenshot. However, I'll look into including the box art somewhere. I haven't really noticed an issue with the highlighted color until you mentioned it. Even on my bright, washed out, monitor it seems okay. I'll look into different options in the next update.
  19. GCFE View File A simple, clean, bare-bones, theme. Comes with 1 Platform View and 1 Game View. This theme is an off-shoot of my CoverBox - Gamecube theme. I liked it enough that I decided to turn it into a generic theme that can be used for any system. This theme is designed to run in 1080p, and has been tested to run properly in 720p and 4k. Installation Instructions Platform View Designed to move out of the way of the full screen platform videos, while still retaining a semblance of menu awareness. The bar fades completely away after a few seconds, and the clear logos fade to 10% of its opacity. Game View Submitter faeran Submitted 02/17/2018 Category Big Box Custom Themes

  21. I have released a variation on the CoverBox - GameCube theme, as per @ea4492's request. You can now download it from the CoverBox Theme page. CoverBox - GameCube - 2
  22. I wouldn't want to duplicate your efforts there
  23. This is true, which is what makes it impossible to switch between controllers within BigBox without constantly changing the controller button mappings. I guess BigBox would need to get some kind of controller profile system that could auto-detect which controller you are using and adjust accordingly. The only solutions I can think of for this issue so far is to either: Have a dedicated BigBox controller that only controls BigBox, then once you select a game, pick up the other controller to play. Create multiple installs of LaunchBox/BigBox. Each install will only have the systems that each controller is compatible with. So I would have a BigBox with only the NES platform for my NES controller, and an install for my SNES controller, etc... Neither of these solutions are ideal to me. I'm hoping that there's something better out there.
  24. As my collection of retro USB controllers grows, I'm noticing that each one maps their keys slightly differently, which makes it extremely tough to have them all working with BigBox all at the same time, and seems to make it impossible to just plug and play them in BigBox. I can't be the only one trying to use many different types of controllers in my setup. For the people that do, how are you handling this?
  25. I like it!
