After accepting or rejecting a change/add/delete it seems to take sometimes like varying 10-20 seconds to move to the next change.  Is everyone experiencing this?

That's expected, as people add changes to the DB the website becomes slower and slower. Only known solution is purging the history of changes but that is done server side by a web administrator, nothing we can do about it.

  2. Don't change the names!! You'll only make your life harder having your own unique naming standard different from the community one.

You can always change the sort name of the game if the order is your main concern, I'd suggest sort naming as the series plus the release year so you'll avoid weird organization problems like having a recent reboot game next to the first one instead of at the end. Mortal Kombat series is a clear offender of this, they have very inconsistent naming, sometimes they'll use decimal numerals (Mortal Kombat 4), sometimes roman numerals (Mortal Kombat II and Mortal Kombat X), sometimes they don't have any number (Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition which is actually Mortal Kombat 9).

As the new QT frontend is developed by the same developer as Duckstation, I found that some of the Duckstation command-line parameters also apply to PCSX2 QT.

Add -batch as a command-line parameter to LaunchBox > Tools > Manage > Emulators > PCSX2, to close PCSX2 with escape without needing an exit script.

    *Edit*

Forgot to mention: for this to work, make sure that in PCSX2 QT > Settings > Interface, "Confirm Shutdown" is unticked.

    This worked perfectly. Thanks!

  4. I like not having duplicate games across the whole frontend so my collection is fairly small (about 2900 games), I rather have quality over quantity. I sort just by platforms but use mostly the All games tab. I've setup BigBox to start on All Games, I don't care much about platforms, it's all about the games.

Unfortunately, no. It's a separate thing to TransitionPresenter, which is what controls all the logic of the transitions. You could create your own animations with XAML, or you could create a plugin to house transition logic.

Oh, bummer. Alternatively, is it possible to force the TransitionPresenter to load a specific video type? That would be the ideal solution.

Hello, I am searching for a good emulation of n64 for launchbox big box. The emulation at this timeis OK, but some minigames doesn't work good. The splitscreen minigames are bugging.

Retroarch with the mupen64plus next and Parallel is pretty good.

Nothing beats Punes for NES not even RetroArch & it's cores

What makes it so good you like it more than Retroarch?

Thanks for the advice.  That seemed to do the trick.  Now I'm just wondering if it's worth it to have them zipped ... Just seems like extra overhead for such small ROM files

Not worth it at all, the difference in space it's negligible for most ROMs and disc based games have their own compressed format (chd), Unzipped roms load faster (specailly on mechanical drives) and make SSDs live longer (by saving writing cycles).
