Are those changes present in their Retroarch core version?

After accepting or rejecting a change/add/delete it seems to take sometimes like varying 10-20 seconds to move to the next change. Is everyone experiencing this?
That's expected, as people add changes to the DB the website becomes slower and slower. Only known solution is purging the history of changes but that is done server side by a web administrator, nothing we can do about it.

Don't change the names!! You'll only make your life harder having your own unique naming standard different from the community one.
You can always change the sort name of the game if the order is your main concern, I'd suggest sort naming as the series plus the release year so you'll avoid weird organization problems like having a recent reboot game next to the first one instead of at the end. Mortal Kombat series is a clear offender of this, they have very inconsistent naming, sometimes they'll use decimal numerals (Mortal Kombat 4), sometimes roman numerals (Mortal Kombat II and Mortal Kombat X), sometimes they don't have any number (Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition which is actually Mortal Kombat 9).

I either don't have multiple game roms or only have those packs and not the individual titles (ie Mega Man Legacy Collection instead of individual games), I try to not have duplicate games across the whole frontend.

Seaview it's a national treasure and must be preserved at all cost. Keep up the good work, mate.

The simplest way is redownloading them in xiso format.

Not a good idea to go around renaming things, you'll get into unexpected issues on the long run.

One thing I don't like at all it's the input implementation. I Couldn't figure out how to use both the keyboard and a gamepad for the player 1 like you can in Retroarch, Dolphin, etc. It's way behind the previous Lilypad plugin.

As the new QT frontend is developed by the same developer as Duckstation, I found that some of the Duckstation command-line parameters also apply to PCSX2 QT.
Add -batch as a command-line parameter to LaunchBox > Tools > Manage > Emulators > PCSX2, to close PCSX2 with escape without needing an exit script.
*Edit*
Forgot to mention: for this to work, make sure that in PCSX2 QT > Settings > Interface, "Confirm Shutdown" is unticked.
This worked perfectly. Thanks!

just wish I knew why some of my games aren't working through LB while others do.
I had some not working, it was because they had custom command-line parameters.

I like not having duplicate games across the whole frontend so my collection is fairly small (about 2900 games), I rather have quality over quantity. I sort just by platforms but use mostly the All games tab. I've setup BigBox to start on All Games, I don't care much about platforms, it's all about the games.

Make sure first that the games work in mame without Launchbox. roms must be inside the MAME/roms folder, make sure ALL of them are in the same folder.
-
Is the Windows10's scaling set to something higher than the recommended 100%? That could lead to problems on some apps.
-
Screenshot says you're missing the Duckstation core. Also, note that the Duckstation core is old, upgrade to the newer version named Swanstation.
-
Same problem here, seems like an issue with the way Yuzu handles launching games, not the frontend itself.
I just tested those files on Ryujinx and they work fine. You can use that emulator with games with DLCs.
-
Low traffic on both. I would stick with the forums because Discord sucks as a social media platform, pretty good as a modern Skype though.
-
This is amazing! I hate not having 1 file per console game.
I'm not wasting my time converting my games though (mainly because of having to verify integrity), I'll just wait for an Archive.org link 😎

gg that was me
Seriously, how boring must someone be to troll a god-forgotten videogame database... -

Unfortunately, no. It's a separate thing to TransitionPresenter, which is what controls all the logic of the transitions. You could create your own animations with XAML, or you could create a plugin to house transition logic.
Oh, bummer. Alternatively, is it possible to force the TransitionPresenter to load a specific video type? That would be the ideal solution.

FlowVideo doesn't seem to have transitions between videos, is there a way to add them?

Hello, I am searching for a good emulation of n64 for launchbox big box. The emulation at this timeis OK, but some minigames doesn't work good. The splitscreen minigames are bugging.
Retroarch with the mupen64plus next and Parallel is pretty good.

What makes it so good you like it more than Retroarch?

Thanks for the advice. That seemed to do the trick. Now I'm just wondering if it's worth it to have them zipped ... Just seems like extra overhead for such small ROM files
Not worth it at all, the difference in space it's negligible for most ROMs and disc based games have their own compressed format (chd), Unzipped roms load faster (specailly on mechanical drives) and make SSDs live longer (by saving writing cycles).
Adding PCSX2 standalone to Launchbox - PCSX2 opens then instantly closes (less than a second)

Your command line is outdated, the current one should be:
-fullscreen -batch
