FlowVideo doesn't seem to have transitions between videos, is there a way to add them?

Hello, I am searching for a good emulation of n64 for launchbox big box. The emulation at this timeis OK, but some minigames doesn't work good. The splitscreen minigames are bugging.
Retroarch with the mupen64plus next and Parallel is pretty good.

What makes it so good you like it more than Retroarch?

Thanks for the advice. That seemed to do the trick. Now I'm just wondering if it's worth it to have them zipped ... Just seems like extra overhead for such small ROM files
Not worth it at all, the difference in space it's negligible for most ROMs and disc based games have their own compressed format (chd), Unzipped roms load faster (specailly on mechanical drives) and make SSDs live longer (by saving writing cycles).

For The --profile=**** name look in the TeknoParrot\UserProfiles folder. Sort by date created if you have a lot of xml files and can't tell which one you just added.
Let's Go Jungle Special name is --profile=LGJS.xml

Your mockup looks worse than any of the popular themes set up to start at Platform Categories; zero flashiness nor gameplay, just a boring menu, we already have LB for boring menus.

Edit the button mappings using the emulator itself. The PCSX2's input implementation it's pretty good, you can bind multiple keys from the keyboard and or gamepads into multiple buttons.
-
No need for ahk to do what you want. You can map the A button to a keyboard key on PCSX2's input settings. If it's just for that game you can create a specific configuration folder for it. To do that, Edit the game on Launchbox and add a custom command-line parameter. It should be something like this:
--fullscreen --cfgpath="Game Configs\Time Crisis II (USA)"
Copy the content of the pcsx2/inis folder to pcsx2\Game Configs\Time Crisis II (USA). Edit the button mappings as you please and that's it.

Does the chd work when you open it with Redream? Maybe that chd is corrupted.
-
No need for 7z when Dolphin supports superior compressed formats like rvz, nkit, gcz, etc.

Where do I see this?
Tools > Manage > Emulators...
On the details window of Redream the "Extract ROM archives before running" should be checked.
Anyway, the best your could do is switch from 7z to chd, the latter is a better format, not even close. -
"Extract ROM archives before running" must be checked on the emulator's details for Launchbox to be able to send it correctly to the emulator.

Nice topic to link people when they ask for MAME Sets links.
Another similar way to find MAME sets is by searching "Roms Megathread". On the Retro tab you can find MAME Sets and other retro stuff. Be wary though, those sets might not be up to date. -
What games exactly are we talking about?

You have to point to the game's EBOOT.BIN executable for Launchbox to be able to launch that PSN game. Right click on the game's icon on RPCS3 after you installed the pkg and click on "OPEN INSTALL FOLDER", the EBOOT.BIN is inside the USRDIR folder (drag and drop it into Launchbox).

The controller numbers are assigned by Windows as they get connected. I don't think it's a dongle problem. You can see which player is which by looking at the Xbox button's light on the controller itself.
-
The easiest solution is to delete everything you downloaded so far and redownload it as chd, there's a pack with that format in the same place you downloaded those gz.

Looks like an admin rights issue to me. Make sure LaunchBox, BigBox and the other programs are NOT running as an administrator.
-
Disable the startup theme on BigBox's options, see if that's the problem. If that the case you'll have to fiddle with the emulator's startup settings (on LaunchBox).
-
The new default details panel looks awesome and LaunchBox loads much faster now, best update in a while!

Go to PCSX2's menu -> CDVD and select ISO. Also update your emulator to latest (nightly) version.

Great, Thanks for the constant improvement of the LaunchBox brand!

Can anyone that is still using rpcs3 confirm whether ISOs are working for them with rpcs3 irrelevant of whether they just mount them or via this or other script. My problem is not with the script, I just can't get rpcs3 to work with the ISO mount workaround. And yes I know officially rpcs3 does not support ISOs.
Regards
In my experience, it works just fine on most of the games I converted to iso, mounted and launched the folder/eboot.bin. There are a only a few games that work when launched normally but don't work or get stuck on an infinite loading screen when launched from an iso mounted on a virtual drive, examples of games with that issue are 3D Dot Game Heroes and Persona 5.

Make sure Launchbox it's not running as an administrator, restart LB to be sure.

Oh, bummer. Alternatively, is it possible to force the TransitionPresenter to load a specific video type? That would be the ideal solution.
