Hey Welcome to Launchbox! For what you want to do I think Launchbox it's a good fit. You can put all games into the arcade platform and separate them with a playlist for each sub-system or you could put every sub-system as a different platform. The Launchbox database has a lot of media for arcade games and you can get even more here on the Launchbox forums (Theme videos, custom boxarts, artwork, etc). Paired with Emumovies you'll get video snaps, Yheme videos, manuals and music and more.

Seems like the Windows title has a weird apostrophe instead of the default one, I already submitted a correction, should be up in 24 to 48h. On the mean time search "Assassin’s Creed Shadows" (copy paste without the quotes), that should work.

It's not working with my gamepad either. I don't think they implemented controller support yet.

After further testing beta 2 and VLC, I've noticed that Bigbox now doesn't randomly crashes when you setup VLC as the video player, it seems even more unstable on the other two players though.

Excelent update! Buying Emumovies lifetime membership was one of my best purchases and it keeps getting even better!

After updating to beta 2, bigbox now crashes on my main computer. never crashed on previous versions. Also, the gamepad inputs are not registered half the time, holding up or down on the gamepad is not smooth, the wheel scrolling pauses constantly. The new pdf reader is amazing, I love it!

Godspeed, hope you find peace, dealing with people, specially on the internet can be extremely unhealthy sometimes. Hey I've done some work with platforms (Nlash missing platforms and some mini console stuff for Hyperspin back when they were popular, There's already a lot of content in the platform department, i try to focus in other lacking areas).

That happened to me once when I updated the emulator and Windows smartscreen protection or whatever it's called blocked the app because it was seen as an unknown unsafe app, to unlock it just open the app flycast,exe via the explorer and in the smartscreen protection popup window you can unlock it and use it freely.

I also had that issue of Launchbox getting stuck shutting down before updting to beta4, I had to close one of the three launchbox.exe via the task manager before it would start updating. Bigbox seems much more stable, but is still crashing randomly without any warning.

I already had all the recomps added to LaunchBox by the time this launcher came up so no need for it. also having a launcher withing a launcher is kinda pointless. Same. That's why I add the recomps as additional apps for the original N64 games. I don't have duplicate enties for the same game in my LaunchBox.

I'm still getting random crashes without warnings in BigBox and on beta 3 (also previous betas), with both video backend players, the debug log shows a bunch of attract mode and music stuff right before crashing, i disabled them but made no difference.
