hi guys, my cd images are all in separate folders. can i change the rom path to the top level images folder and have launch box drill down into the game folder to get the actual image? thanks!
-
but since LB is now running on android, should you be able to get it to run natively in the headset, without streaming from a pc?
-
hi guys, just curious if anyone has gotten LB to work on the quest? thanks!

Pheonix Emulator Integration/Command Line Help?
d8thstar replied to HellfireEternal's topic in Noobs
sorry, should have been clearer! i think some folks had gotten RL to work with LB in launching phoenix. offering up a bounty for someone that can create a step by step “how to” to get that done. -

Is there the way to manually sort platforms?
d8thstar replied to TONBOX777's topic in Troubleshooting
Hi just found this feature and love it, thank you! i would like to suggest an additional field if I may. The sort name works great, for exa, ple, I name all my Nintendo systems like: arcade 01 mame arcade 02 daphne arcade 03 sega model 2 etc. in addition to the excellent sort field, it'd be great to have a "name displayed" field. That way if I rename an emu, I don't have to go into the folders and rename folders to match the new emu name I just gave it (should I have everything scraped already). So, three name fields total: title: default name, what you scrape with sort field: lets us display the platforms in order we would like NEW, name displayed: let's us change the name that is displayed without having to change any folder names once something has been scraped Just a thought, keep up the great work. -
Hi all, i am just about done setting up my GPD Win handheld with LB/BB (absolutely loving the ease of this FE). since the GPD Win is a handheld, I have specific emu's roms on an external HDD, MAME 184 being one of those. On the GPD Win itself, I have MAME 139 installed. is it possible to have two instances of MAME installed and showing on the platform wheel? thanks!

Should have been more clear, not the games logo, the platform logo. So, I do one refresh and my custom "sega Saturn" logo shows. I do another refresh, it disappears. EDIT: all good, I had renamed the original image as "original" and the new image in there with the correct name. Removing the original image solved the problem.

Hi all, i think ink this is a bug, I am running the newest beta but this goes back to the last beta at least... I created some custom images for a few platforms and put them in the platform "clear" folder and in big box I refresh all images (refresh platform wheel images doesn't work for me). after the refresh of all images, some of them appear, some do not. Weird thing is, if I refresh images again, some of the non showers now show up while some that were showing no longer show. does that make sense?

I tried many different combinations of your script and it isn't working for me. Checked the process monitor while ScummVM is running and it has the app listed as http://www.scummvm.org listed and I even tried that in the script. i used "active window info" and it is reporting ScummVM.exe not sure what the problem is.. the loader uses bat files to launch each game, the bat file is: @echo off scummvm.exe --no-console -f -gNormal --path="R:\Arcade\ScummVM\games\The Dig (CD DOS)" dig
-
wish i could say it worked but it didn't.

Hi all, i just finished setting up ScummVM with the excellent ScummVM loader. The only issue I am having is not being able to quit back to launch box with the ESC key. has anyone got this working? thanks

Great tip spycat, thanks. curious if you have had any luck adding home brew games that have overlays?

Worked perfectly, thank you sir!

I have daphne up and running with all games, loving it. the file for space ace that I have is 720P so it is the only game showing up a bit squished when I launch. Is there any way that I can get SA to play widescreen and the rest at 4:3? thanks
-
Right on, thank you that worked! Not sure why, everything I had in files pointed to "sweep", not clean. wiuld you mind checking two of your command lines for me? I can't get overlays for Star Trek or star castle to come up. thanks a lot for your help!
-
I spoke to soon. most overlays show correctly, some do not. below is my vectrex.lay file. two games as examples, blitz and clean sweep. blitz overlay show fines. when I start clean sweep, I get the minestorm overlay. I have triple checked that the overlay is named correctly and that the command line for clean sweep ia accurate. bothe games look exactly the same in the lay file except of course for the names. anyone have any ideas? thanks </mamelayout> <?xml version="1.0"?> <mamelayout version="2"> <element name="mine"> <image file="Mine Storm (World).png" /> </element> <view name="Mine Storm (World) overlay"> <bezel element="mine"> <bounds left="0" top="0" right="3" bottom="4" /> </bezel> <overlay element="mine"> <bounds left="0" top="0" right="3" bottom="4" /> </overlay> <screen index="0"> <bounds left="0" top="0" right="3" bottom="4" /> </screen> </view> <element name="mine"> <image file="Mine Storm II (USA) (Rev 2).png" /> </element> <view name="Mine Storm II (USA) (Rev 2) overlay"> <bezel element="mine"> <bounds left="0" top="0" right="3" bottom="4" /> </bezel> <overlay element="mine"> <bounds left="0" top="0" right="3" bottom="4" /> </overlay> <screen index="0"> <bounds left="0" top="0" right="3" bottom="4" /> </screen> </view> <element name="armor"> <image file="Armor..Attack (World).png" /> </element> <view name="Armor..Attack (World)"> <bezel element="armor"> <bounds left="0" top="0" right="3" bottom="4" /> </bezel> <overlay element="armor"> <bounds left="0" top="0" right="3" bottom="4" /> </overlay> <screen index="0"> <bounds left="0" top="0" right="3" bottom="4" /> </screen> </view> <element name="bedlam"> <image file="Bedlam (USA, Europe).png" /> </element> <view name="Bedlam (USA, Europe) overlay"> <bezel element="bedlam"> <bounds left="0" top="0" right="3" bottom="4" /> </bezel> <overlay element="bedlam"> <bounds left="0" top="0" right="3" bottom="4" /> </overlay> <screen index="0"> <bounds left="0" top="0" right="3" bottom="4" /> </screen> </view> <element name="berzerk"> <image file="Berzerk (World).png" /> </element> <view name="Berzerk (World) overlay"> <bezel element="berzerk"> <bounds left="0" top="0" right="3" bottom="4" /> </bezel> <overlay element="berzerk"> <bounds left="0" top="0" right="3" bottom="4" /> </overlay> <screen index="0"> <bounds left="0" top="0" right="3" bottom="4" /> </screen> </view> <element name="blitz"> <image file="Blitz! - how can one get their dirty little hands on the beta? i can't wait to try!

Hi all, i am about done with my GPD Win build and was hoping someone could help me out as I don't have the programs or know how to make a custome platform clear banner. These would be the console names you scroll thru in big box. i have an external HDD with CD images and I would like to have the consoles that require the HDD say so. if some one can help, here is what I would like it to look like, they will all be the standard platform image, just that behind the platform, there would be an oversized HDD behind the platform name than in a smaller font, under the HDD, have it say "REQUIRED". platforms I am looking for are: Sega Dreamcast Sega CD Sega Saturn 3DO MAME 184 Nintendo GameCube Sony Playstation TurboGrafx 16 CD any takers feel like helping a newbie out? Also, where would I put these new images? thanks for reading and any help you can offer
-
All better, I had renamed a few systems so the folder locations were incorrect.
-
This is odd, I don't know if it's a bug I should report... so after the reboot, everything came back. But now when I start a game, it runs, but the box art disappears so I am having to re scrape each platform to force the image to delink again. any thoughts?
-
Never mind, a quick reboot and everything came back.
