  1. thanks for this guys. followed all instructions and was able to import and start mad dog and mad dog 2 (import the tx files). But, it won't see or let me import any other txt file, this is weird! any thoughts? other weirdness, same thing happens in daphne games... when i exit, the video freezes, the audio keeps playing and about 20-30 seconds later, the game finally exits.
  2. i just rtried from scratch. deleted my phoenix folder, downloaded again, attached the bios, attached all the carts, started each cart. then i ran the poauncher to do the back up, so far so good. dtarting the launcher in LB, same error! attached is my launcher xml, it looks right to me... _Phoenix_Rom_Launcher.xml
  3. would you mind postring your phoenix rom launcher xml?
  4. thanks man, i just tried. deleted all my xml'x. launch phoenix, brand new no roms or bios in the list. I attached the jab bios and added then started two different roms, battle sphere and tempest, both launched just fine. i then ran phoenix rom launcher, it found two jag roms and asked for me to make a back up, which i did, then exited. now in LB, i select tempest, tell it to use phoenix rom launcher and i get this: line 2197 (file "s:\emulators\ph-win64\_phoenix_rom_launcher.exe"): error: variable used without being declared man i'm lost...
  5. yeah i’ve tried that tut to no evail. im switching to retro right now but for the jag core, just isn’t as good, bad crackly audio in places, etc. and battle sphere plays on phoenix...
  6. so frustrated, let's see if cold hard cash can solve my problem i have tried every phoenix launcher on these boards and can't for the life of me figure out why I can't get it to run correctly. i know my phoenix is set up correctly, it launches just fine from rocket launcher. if someone can get me up and running with phoenix on the jag and 3DO, i got $50 with your name on it! Thanks!
  7. hi all, still a bit new with LB. I'm almost all set, just trying to iron out my marquee. Arcade games are fine, but console games are showing the box art. i'd prefer if for consoles the banner or clear logo was shown. is there anywhere in an xml file that I can tell LB to change the marquee art location? would be great if you could select primary, secondary and tertiary marquee locations by platform! thanks all!
  8. hi all, thanks to all that have gotten me this far, i can’t believe i waited so long to move to LB, this app is awesome! here are the final few things i’m struggling with, if anyone can help i’d greatly appreciate it. 1. pause - the last major thing i need to do. is there a list of pause friendly emulators? i know there are a few that don’t cooperate... 2. scummvm - i’m using a launcher. i have an “escape sends alt-f4” script set up for the emu (i know the script works because it works on others) but it will not quit the emu. if i hit directly alt-f4, the emu quits. i may add to this list once i get home thank you everyone!
  9. hi all, apologies this is probably super noob! i can’t find any option to allow LB/BB to scroll when holding stick (mapped to arrow keys). but now that just tested, keyboard works as expected, mapped key press to stick does not. using joytokey if anyone has any ideas. thanks!!
  10. 25 pages in this thread, my apologies if these answers are in there. looking for a couple of things if anyone can help: 1. looking to send left and/or right mouse clicks with the push of a button, let’s say ‘N’ and/or ‘A’ for left click, ‘B’ and/or ‘S’ or right click 2. send one key when pressing another, e.g. send ‘P’ when pressing ‘H’ 3. i’m using a launcher app to launch ScummVM. i have tried plenty of exit scripts to send alt-f4 when pressing ESC, nothing seems to work. any thoughts? thanks everyone!!
  11. can i buy you a pint over paypal? thank you, really! under hyperspin (and EDS driving the marquee), they had some really cool looking platform images I was using as marquees. this was top level, scrolling thru platforms. here is a sample... i just like the uniformed look of all of them. in LB, once i drill into the platform, i love the marquee that was designed, it's just that top level. the designs that are there are great but they won't fit my marquee screen at all
  12. one final marquee question if i may... if i wanted to point to another folder for marquees, where could i edit that?
  13. oh i just saw that you posted. winner winner chicken dinner! worked like a charm. thanks so much man!
  14. getting closer, changed to fill and changed vertical alignment to top horizontally i’m fine, vertically i’m a bit squished...
  15. sure thing, this is my marquee currently...
  16. each openbor game has an "openbor.exe" file which is the game. So, could you just rename the exe to the game folder name? i tried on one game and it worked. that way you could just imp[ort all the exe files. anyone smarter than me willing to write a script to rename the openbor.exe to the folder name it sits in?
  17. right on man, thank you for any help yo can give. this is the one thing i am missing from HS days... <UserControl xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:mc="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/markup-compatibility/2006" xmlns:d="http://schemas.microsoft.com/expression/blend/2008" mc:Ignorable="d" d:DesignHeight="1080" d:DesignWidth="1920" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch" VerticalAlignment="Stretch" FocusVisualStyle="{x:Null}" BorderThickness="0" Margin="0" Padding="0" Background="#000"> <!-- GRID DEFINITIONS --> <Grid > <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition Width="1*" /> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <Grid.RowDefinitions> <RowDefinition Height="*" /> <RowDefinition Height="*" /> <RowDefinition Height="*" /> </Grid.RowDefinitions> <!-- GAME MARQUEE --> <Image Source="{Binding Path=SelectedGame.MarqueeImagePath}" Panel.ZIndex="9" Grid.Row="0" Grid.Column="1" Stretch="Uniform" HorizontalAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Center" RenderOptions.BitmapScalingMode="HighQuality" /> <Image Source="{Binding Path=SelectedGame.MarqueeImagePath}" Panel.ZIndex="0" Grid.Row="0" Grid.Column="0" Stretch="Fill" RenderOptions.BitmapScalingMode="LowQuality"><Image.Effect><BlurEffect Radius="99"/></Image.Effect></Image> </Grid> </UserControl>
  18. hi all, new to LB, loving it! one of the last things I need to get going from my HS days is the second monitor for marquees. i have one of those panel that has been cut, 1920 x1080 as seen in windows but it's probably only 300 or so vertically. left as is, i get something on the marquee monitor, its just centered for a 1080 vertical screen. horizontally, the size looks right. i found an xmal file on these boards which pushed the art to the top (yay!) but the marquee is only taking up the middle horizontally with to much space on either side of the marquee (the horizontal image has shrunk down). ban anyone help a noobie out? thanks!
  19. hey bud, just checking in, jag is on of the last few i need to set up. thanks a ton my friend!
  20. thanks man, i really appreciate you looking into it. maybe i can buy you a pint over paypal just to confirm the usage, drop the launcher into the phoenix root. start the launcher. close the launcher. point LB at the launcher instead of the phoenix emu. and bobs your uncle. yes?
  21. thank you thank you thank you! R:\Arcade\Emulators\ph-win64\Jaguar\CARTRIDGE\Atari Karts (World).J64
  22. that is from the second file. i tried the first, same error but this time 2111 your help is appreciated man!
  23. can anyone help? i am getting the attached error when trying to run this from LB.
  24. hi all, is there anyway to easily move from HA to LB? it’d be great to have a “import from...” where you just select the front end, the location of the front end and if you have media installed where the defaults are, LB would just point to those files. right now i am setting all emus up from scratch, redownloading media to be in the proper LB folders. this is going to take a long long time
