Alright.

@C-Beats Does this take care of the animation issue with FlowVideo where the rows are overlapping and spreading apart as you navigate up then down or down then up?
-
@C-Beats I tried reducing the number of items in the wall, it didn't seem to change anything.

Awesome, thanks for that. Look forward to hearing what you are able to shake out. Thanks for your willingness to help with it.
Absolutely!

I can mess around with that tonight and let you know tomorrow.
-
While animating.
It's also only while using FlowVideo. If FlowVideo is disabled, it goes away completely.
-
@Jason Carr @C-Beats WallView with FlowVideo enabled still has the issue where rows will move closer together (overlap each other) and further apart if you navigate up and then down. Or, down and then up.
It becomes very obvious the less space that you have between rows. If you use the default theme with WallView2 and adjust the theme so there's less space between the rows, you'll see it happen pretty quickly.

I can, hopefully today. Where do I turn on debug?
I tried about 25 times and couldn't get it to fail. I can try again later.

If willing, could you turn on debug logging and try to reproduce it. When it happens then close out of Big Box and PM me the most recent log file in the \\Launchbox\Logs\ folder. I'll see if there anything I can use in there to see what may be happening.

Is it happening consistently for the same game (like does the same game SOMETIMES work when you come back or does it always fail)
It's pretty random. Nothing consistent I can find yet.

Issues 1 & 2 seem to be fixed.
Issue 3 still happens.
Issue 3 still happens after the beta 8 update.

I've only tried with VLC.
I'll do what I can to verify it.
I tried loading three games, two closed and played the FlowVideo after exiting and one did not.

@bbweiners I'm not having that problem on my end, but I admit we have had several corrections to the code since the beta 6 release. @Jason Carr plans on releasing another beta today. Would it be possible for you to verify you still have the issue after that is released? Also just so I can confirm, is this happening to you while using WMP or VLC as your video backend (or both)?
I've only tried with VLC.
I'll do what I can to verify it.

Do you still have GameDetails turned off when you see this happening?
Yes.

Just now, bbweiners said:
It's only happening when FlowVideo is enabled. If you navigate up and down fast, you can see the rows sometimes shift around. Like they're spreading apart vertically.
Also, one more thing I noticed is sometimes when you exit a game the FlowVideo won't start playing again.

@bbweiners Could you elaborate a bit about the animation thing you are reporting? Want to make sure I understand what is going on.

I messed around with this a bit last night. The first two issues don't happen with all emulators. RPCS3, PCSX2 and Cemu are all fine. Retroarch and Dolphin are not.
Issue three seems to happen regardless when navigating, which makes sense.

As a follow up to the above post of mine, if you have Start Screens enabled you don't receive an error. But, it takes a while to launch the Start Screen and you see some resizing of things while it happens. This is again while using WallView2 in the Default theme.

I receive this error when disabling the Start Screen using any WallView in the Default theme, after I exit a game --

I didn't get an error report.
I was using a theme I created. It's a modified version of the Default theme, WallView2.

I not sure if I made it clear, but everything works well if I use VLC.
