  1. I've also dulled down the blue "Dreamcast" spine that shows below the box cut out
  2. With @goofers help - we're getting closer to what the 2x spine end could look like in BigBox
  3. Thanks to @goofers who provided me with a couple of PAL Dreamcast templates, I have combined them and found new pics for the Dreamcast case blue "Dreamcast" edge - and as I own Shenmue I & II - have now created these pics of the game boxes with the inner game cases visible
  4. Also AI upscaled the Shenmue II logo which came out well
  5. Just cleaned up the edges and removed stains / creases from the Shenmue I and II Dreamcast PAL Boxes (the ones the 2x disc cases were held in). I was tempted to make the cut outs transparent and show the disc cases + respective covers underneath with a drop shadow under the cut out...but until we are able to assign TOP, BOTTOM, LEFT and RIGHT edges to LB - then there was little point. The spines were recreated in PowerPoint to match the forced box colour
  6. Super Runabout (Dreamcast)
  7. Still pushing on with the Dreamcast work... So just a couple of Logo's I've had to remake: Resident Evil 3 (Dreamcast) Quake III Arena (Dreamcast)
  8. Also added all my Pinball Video Snaps to the downloads section too
  9. Just added all my AI Upscaled Pinball Flyers to the downloads section below
  10. Hi - I'll gladly take a look
  11. What next? I've started looking at Dreamcast. I had the European console on day 1 release which really did feel like a generation step up from the PS1 (it even left me feeling underwhelmed by the PS2 and didn't have the jarring interlacing effects that the PS2 had). I collected primarily the EU boxes, then the US exclusives, then notable JP games. For the EU games: Whilst there are some great scans in the db (and at Sega Retro), the majority of the back covers include the spine in the same scan...so I'm starting to split them into backs and spines. Where the EU boxes were deeper than a CD case, there are notches in the right top/bottom of the back to accommodate the hinge. Until such time that the good developers here at LB create an EU 3D case that is the correct depth (+ hopefully a PS1 EU case too ), then I felt that filling in the notches was a good idea I'm trying to level the colours of the scans a little - by eye - as some of the scans are too dark a blue, or too saturated etc. For Shenmue and Shenmue II - I've recreated the wider spines in PowerPoint as I've over-ridden the default 3D case for a box. I've used the inner case pics as the outer case had a cut out for being able to pull out the 2x game cases - so it just looks cleaner For Xeno Crisis - I couldn't find a good back cover pic - the only one out there appears to have lens flare - so I've corrected that as best I could and AI upscaled it I have tried a few approaches to AI upscaling the covers, but the printing at the time was more "fine dots" than photo quality so AI seems to struggle with them quite a lot (even if you blur the images first) For the US games: I've really not done a lot with these. There's a lot of good scans in the db - for both front, back and spines and the backs do not have "notches" like the EU ones do I have however sourced - or recreated spines in PowerPoint - where they are missing in the db For the JP games: I don't have many of these - but like the US ones I've sourced - or recreated spines in PowerPoint - where they are missing in the db There are a few games that must have been released in a DVD style case - so I've kept with those dimensions. Most notably Last Hope: Pink Bullets (I've used the DVD case override and the "force case background cover" colours to R=235 , G=67 , B=158 to get a pink DVD case) For SSFII For Matching Service - I've upscaled the back cover as the only pics online are tiny. Overall it does look better - but the Japanese text did get garbled in the AI upscale Anyway - I naively thought I could get this done quite quickly - and while I've done around 200 of 285, this is going to take another 3 or 4 weeks to complete (or longer if I tackle the logo's too). It won't be perfect - but it will be a lot better than you can currently achieve from the pics in the db.
  12. Thank you @zetec-s-joe - very kind of you to say so. Really glad you like it!
  13. Adding Super Mario Bros. Special Edition (G&W) artwork: Front, Back, Spine and Fan Art Logo (to distinguish it from the other 2 versions)
  14. Super Mario Bros. Special Edition (G&W) Front, Back, Spine and Fan Art Logo (to distinguish it from the other 2 versions)
  15. LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 (most of the entries in the Db were low res) LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 (most of the entries in the Db didn't have a logo without the orange flare)
  16. Just in case anyone stumbles on this and wants the solution, I've written up the process: Within the LBThemes folder, copy the "Default" theme sub-folder and rename the copy Then within the LBThemes\[copied theme]\Views sub-folder, edit BoxesContentView.xaml In the section below (approx line 232) - change the bottom line to CornerRadius="0" (ScaleTransform.ScaleY)" Duration="0:0:0.175"/> </Storyboard> </BeginStoryboard> </MultiDataTrigger.ExitActions> </MultiDataTrigger> </Style.Triggers> </Style> </Grid.Style> <Border VerticalAlignment="Stretch" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch"> <Border.OpacityMask> <VisualBrush> <VisualBrush.Visual> <Border Height="{Binding ActualHeight, ElementName=ContentImage}" Width="{Binding ActualWidth, ElementName=ContentImage}" Background="#2A2B34" BorderThickness="0" CornerRadius="0"/>
  17. LEGO Racers (multiple consoles. AI upscaled and tidied up logo)
  18. LEGO Island 2: The Brickster's Revenge (multiple consoles. AI upscaled and tidied up logo)
  19. Korg DS-10 Synthesizer (NDS - black and white versions)
  20. Thank you @Retro808 - I'll give that a try.. ...and 5 mins on - that worked - so super thank you !!!
  21. You're more than welcome. As others have said - I do it for the challenge / creativity of it (I've certainly pushed PowerPoint to the limits and now have a far better grasp on Photoshop than I started out with).
  22. Thanks @PaDeMoNiuM - yes - I've actually got an original Donkey Kong Multi Screen....bought a replica box just to store it. There was something about these games in the day
  23. Pinball and Game & Watch Artwork uploaded... Pinball Logo's: Game & Watch Artwork: Enjoy!
