  1. Will do! Thanks for the reminder, I'll make a backup later today as you never know
  2. Thanks, glad you like I uploaded most of pack 2 dual layout marquees to the launchbox database so you can scrape the marquees like this, there's still a lot of work to be done before releasing pack 2.
  3. Loving the new theme! It's got extra dimensions as if a window opened in the background to another galaxy \m/
  4. Thanks man, I've seen this come by and some other software called Tur-Game Controller Order on the hyperspin forum, although I hoped there was an easy fix or knowledge for windows itself, I try not to have to many software running in the background, do you use this software yourself?
  5. Thanks bro, glad you like
  6. Not sure if this will help you but maybe worth a try, this seems to work for some people when having mapping problems, setting the following in mame.ini, downside of putting Keyboard in dinput is Mame can use only one keyboard at a time, in case you use multiple keyboards. # # OSD INPUT OPTIONS # keyboardprovider dinput mouseprovider auto lightgunprovider auto joystickprovider auto
  7. And just when you thought everything is working like a dream... Windows and it's friggin' controller order shuffle is back, I swear it was working well for months and now since I have 3 controllers they keep getting shuffled. I know this problem has been happening for a lot of people in the past, was there a definitive solution to this? I see a lot of results on google but am getting nowhere, hope you guys can share some knowledge. It really surprises me this happens at all since windows seems to be a holy grail for many gamers and microsoft upping the Xbox name on its OS these last years, so something simple like this shouldn't be happening I think, been a console guy myself for a long long time till Launchbox came into my life
  8. I use Controller Companion to map keys to a controller, very recommended piece of software! It can also map a key combo to adjust system volume which works great.
  9. Thanks so much man, very good to hear Yep I am having the same struggles like you, basically I'm a very OCD completionist beyond help, I feel a very strong urge to create any images as good as I can for every game but then again I can't, as much as I wish to, so I try to find a middle ground, for now my plan is to get at least a 3D box for as much games as possible in the mame arcade set, this requires a lot of googling to search for those obscure images and fixing them up, searching and cutting out the logos if needed as well. I also want to finish the arcade cabinets project and after thats done finish up the Neo Geo marquee set. On the side I also want to go through all mame marquees and search and create the highest quality possible up to 3840 pixels wide. After this is all done I like to create photo realistic bezels in 4k for most arcade games lol its a bit crazy and I'm not sure if I'll be able to get this far as I have to add many more other consoles and computers to my collection as well. Damn I really hope my hdd wont crash, I never worked with a such latge quantity of data before so I guess the risk of this happening is far more realistic than before, will have to create backups. I'm also deleting games I don't like from the Mame set including slots/mechanical/consoles etc., I'm at letter P atm, going through them one by one, it's quite relaxing to do so, around 3000 to go as I haven't merged them (forgot the name of the method when sub merge them with other titles)
  10. Looking great! T-molding is being used a lot for the edges of the sides of a cabinet. On top of control panels they use plexi to protect the artwork, but I'm no expert on this matter though.
  11. Thanks! Is the website also updated? I see coins and mushrooms, which is great
  12. Thanks brother very good to hear If you guys see any mistakes please let me know, I already found two wrong file names in the first pack which will be corrected in the next update pack.
  13. Glad you like It'll take a few packs to complete though, Mame showed me multiple times that it's always larger than I think lol but I'll get there
  14. Added pack "FGHIJK" (remember: missing boxes will be updated through update packs in the future)
  15. @Colorman3605 You can change it anyway you like, if you want to see only certain images for a particular game you can rename the images or delete images you don't want to see for a game.
  16. That's because multiple images set for one image category get randomized.
  17. Awesome! Keep up the great work!
  18. Update: I don't think I'll manage to finish the pack for Sunday, will be Monday or Tuesday. Another preview of a classic, in 4 variants. (Note: Not color corrected/optimized yet)
  19. I love your work, will these be uploaded to the Launchbox downloads section?
  20. Thanks bro I am collecting all the new and/or modified cover artwork to upload at a later point, it's a whole lot of stuff to add manually once done though I might need some help with this, I am uploading the Missink logo's though and some of the artwork in case where there wasn't any.
  21. Update: Pack "FGHIJK" coming this Sunday if all goes well, including a lot of classics, here's a preview of some games and it's variants, in case you like/need the Japanese, official art or fan art version Including customized and cropped flyers (the last halloween poster put to good use!) and artwork. Ghost's 'n Goblins different versions: Ghouls 'n Ghosts different versions: And a special example, I found this flyer to be boring in mono color so I colored it using reference material of the cabinets, couldn't find the high res cabinet artwork so I just had to do this labor of love. Back to my childhood days, loved every minute of coloring this lol, took some time but I like the result: End result box: And loads more stuff, too much to show here, stay tuned for Sunday
  22. Hey now, I liked Bubsy ? Best wishes to everyone for 2019 btw \m/
  23. Yeah now I finally figured it all out, I chose guide as secondary bindings button to hold and it can do whatever I wanted it's awesome! Now I can finally adjust system volume as well by holding guide + up or down. Thanks again @Chadmando and @Dane this dinput setting might solve problems with other key mapping software in combo with Mame as well, this thread helped me solve it:
  24. I want my rebellious MTV back, it was good.
