  1. Just Updating this, a second PC on my network took over 15 minutes before the Auto Scan feature kicked in. I have a another yet to test. Only difference between the two of them is first is connected LAN and the second is using wifi to connect to network (all roms stored on NAS and both LB builds are identical). Isn't 10-15 minutes a bit too long? Took over 10 minutes before a third PC ever attempted to connect to drive with roms. With beta 1 and 2 it was only a minute or 2, not 10-15 minutes???
  2. Currently, it will continue scanning back into LB any deleted items as long as the rom still exists in the designated folder
  3. Just an observation on my part with beta 4. A few hours after updating to beta 4 and closing LB, I had added a few PS3 games and a switch game. An hour or so later, I opened LB to see how well it added the games and it took close to 10 minutes maybe longer before the Auto Scan feature ever happened. I was beginning to think the Auto feature was not going to work for me in beta 4. Previously it was like maybe a minute or so. Is there an approximate time variable for when it should activate?
  4. maybe it is something that might get looked into thx @Retro808
  5. With the new Auto feature, is there a way for a user to blacklist games from being added? I.E. In my RPCS3 I have a pkg installed that is not a game, but LB is finding and adding it. I would like to turn it off somehow so it doesn't scan it in. Anyway to do this or can it be added. So it adds it, I could right click on the game and tell it to exclude from the auto feature or something???
  6. This is due for an update, as I have collected many more over the past couple years, will see what I can do, time permitting. Glad you got it working
  7. Thx for the feedback, That's strange, I downloaded the file and they are extracting for me, what are you using to extract with? I tested with WinRar and 7z and both worked for me.
  8. Just a thought, it would be nicer if the notifications would include the platform name with the new auto feature IMO
  9. Just wanted to let LB team know it is working for me. I do not use the default rom and media paths. What I do find strange is it found games in a few platforms that the normal Tools > Scan > Scan for Added Roms... didn't find?? UPDATE: Kinda made a mess of my PS3 games, added many games files as games, such as files nested within an actual game like BLUS31450 - Adventure Time The Secret Of The Nameless Kingdom\PS3_GAME\USRDIR\npc_marceline.pak. Added as a new game named "npc marceline" I got a couple hundred of them. Still looking at them, but so far, all of them are using the *.pak file extension I have to turn the feature off, because after deleting them, it just scans them right back in...lol
  10. @Jason Carr @C-Beats @faeran Down for me as well, also unable to connect to download metadata
  11. quite welcome, please do share if you do. You can use the template to remove or change logo to something else, create a total new set of video snaps and even share them with the community!
  12. Can you PM me a MUGEN video example that you like or a link to one that you would like me to try and use? I will be more than happy to see what I can do
  13. @goblindriver I would love a good clear picture of that TV and surroundings with the TV turned off for a video set I am making if your interested in sharing one?
  14. How are the Platform name and the Platform Nested name different, mainly concerning theming?
  15. I've noticed an odd behavior with LB / BB and 2 monitors. All my startup and pause themes are defaulting to the monitor that I have BigBox set to use when launching a game even if launching from Launchbox. For example, if BB is set to launch on monitor 2 all my startup and pause themes will use monitor 2, as they should. if BB is set to launch on monitor 1 all my startup and pause themes will use monitor 1, as they should. However, if I have BB to launch on monitor 2 and launch a game from LB on monitor 1, my startup and pause themes are still using monitor 2 rather than monitor 1
  16. Thanks much @Retro808, you the man!
  17. Is there a switch to turn off the "scanning storefront libraries" when you start LB?

  20. @shadoweez, I woud put your original Settings file back then, maybe turn on debugging, and post you your log here for the devs to take a peak at it, they're great folks.
  21. @shadoweez, I would move it to a different location first, that way you can put it back if needed, it is in your ..\Launchbox\Data folder (Settings.xml is the file name)
  22. If it's of any interest to team or @shadoweez . I found my issue. I deleted my settings file and the "options" began working. Upon further investigation, using the newly created setting file, I found missing artwork again. Same as I posted about before. After looking at the Platforms.xml, it's an issue related to a mixture of absolute paths and relative paths both being in the file. I'm not able to quickly fix this in the Platforms.xml as I have done so in the past with notepad++, as there seems to be a cached file somewhere over riding any changes I make to my Platforms.xml. It appears the only way I seem to be able fix this is to do it go through every platform and fix every path one at a time an allow LB to save it's relative path that I navigate too. Am I missing something on a quicker way to fix the paths????
  23. I am curious why "THE FIX" in the last beta fixed some and didn't fix others? Do myself and @shadoweez have something in common that the others didn't have? specs: Win10 Nvidea 1080ti Dual 4k monitors non-standard media locations gotta be something I would think???? Anyone have any ideas?
  24. The Options open up, then disappears, then LB just hangs up, have video if ya need it
