I just deleted my old SNES video with the black bars and re uploaded the new one without the black bars.

@Riffman81 I am not sure what the community thinks on this aspect as it would be a huge undertaking to get all the game videos recorded in HD but it does sound awesome. I would definitely like to get the platform videos get the HD treatmaent at least and I will be doing some more when I get some spare time. Personally hard drive space has nevered bothered me as it is not that expensive these days.

I get that hard drives are cheap these days, was just thinking about the long term and what we're looking at in terms of space with possibly doing EVERY system. Yes, a huge undertaking and I certainly wont be doing it alone (I hope) Hell, I'd be doing videos for the next 10 years :P

Great videos and definitely best with no bezels or black sides as that gives the most versatility. Are HD videos totally overkill for old SD systems - of course but it doesn't matter one bit does it? If we just wanted to play games and not make them look nice we wouldn't even bother with frontends would we?

Thanks guys, I am in full agreement that recording the videos without the bezels would be best, because then we have full flexibility.

Personally, I don't care at all how much hard drive space 1080p videos take up. Having 1080p video snaps I think would be amazing, and well worth the extra space. My thoughts are that anyone who wants to use background videos in Big Box are definitely going to appreciate the 1080p videos.

@circo I would think if bandwidth is an issue for this, which it probably is, it might be an opportunity to add another price point to the options. I would pay another $60 in a heartbeat for forever access to 1080p videos. Though I know not everyone has the same stance that I do.
