Wii Virtual Console

Is there a benefit do emulating Wii Virtual Console instead of the original console?

I notice a lot of people have VC in their library's but will have have SNES, N64, etc... Wondering why and if I should also add VC to my collection

I hear some of the N64 games look and perform better in the VC but I don't know I have the games but never added them to LB if I did it would be its own platform probably with screen shots as the boxes.

Some of the N64 texture pack makers are supporting and moving over to the Wii VC versions of N64 games. Supposedly the emulation quality is better and texturing is easier.

Can someone help I wanted the Nintendo Wii Virtual Console added so I did and instead of making a separate section it went into Wii. I see it in Launchbox but don't see them in BigBox. How do I see them?

In Launchbox right click the name of the Wii Virtual Console platform and choose edit. In the parents tab you can check the box where you want that platform to show. Just make sure to uncheck any other ticked boxes.

Its not there to right click because once I try to add it all it does is add to nintendo Wii instead of making a seperate console

Wii Virtual console is not a platform, its just Wii. So if you want the games in a separate platform you will need to type in a name for the platform in the import wizard instead of picking Wii from the dropdown.
