Evil_Orko
I have almost 1,700 Steam games, and only a couple hundred are installed. Is there any way I can add in what I want manually instead of getting all the Steam games in the list I don't want? I also have separately installed Windows games as well as some GOG, Origin, and UPlay games I'd like to add in manually. Thanks for the advice! Lordmonkus
I cannot comment on the importing of Steam games because I don't have mine imported. But the way I have imported my Windows games I have installed is to just import the shortcut files in as a rom for the Windows platform. Then just pick any random emulator, once all the games are imported select all and edit. Bulk edit the emulator and for the emulator you want to change it to just leave it blank. They should then just launch like loading the game normally.

Jason Carr
There are a couple other options; you can use the Delete key at the end of the Steam import wizard to remove the games you don't want. For non-Steam games you can also just manually add them one by one and point to the application's EXE. Not the quickest though I know, so monkus probably has the best solution. Quinton
Recently found Launchbox and I am loving it but I am having trouble with the Steam games. I play on a media centre computer and often Steam-Stream from my Desktop PC. I have two questions- 1. Can I import my installed Steam games only & can that include in-home-Streaming installs? (Currently I must go through a massive list and pick and choose. Pushing Delete key is frustrating, even the option to shift-click or ctrl-click would make life easier.) 2. An extension of the first question really. If I change my Steam library can I not simply install 1 Steam game? Or do I need to go through the whole list again? Thanks. ckp
One thing you could do is just run through the steam import wizard and get them all. Then after they are inside LB, multi select all the games you don't want to show, right click for a mass edit and choose to hide those games so they don't show up in LB (as long as you are not showing hidden games). Then on future steam imports like when you have new games, you won't have to deal with deleting all the ones you don't want to show up anymore because they will remain hidden and LB will only get the new stuff from steam. Evil_Orko
i found that to be the best way to deal with MAME myself. I'll have to go back through my Steam imports one of these days.
