kerszr Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 @SentaiBrad I was going through emulators that i havent quite tried out yet. Turns out raine can play some arcade games mame cant. The sad thing is that i cant get it to work via launch box. I just need some help with command lines parameters and the like as Raine doesnt open upon selecting the game via launchbox even with the parameters -g -nogui specified in the 'setting up all emulators' thread. so could you help a amigo out?

spycat Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 Hi kerszr. I've used Raine to play Neo Geo CD games. To get the game to automatically open when run from LaunchBox, you need to remove the -g parameter and just use the optional -nogui one.
Charco Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 What games does Raine support that are not playable in MAME? Is it easier to set up than MESS in LaunchBox for Neo Geo CD games? I might add it for Crossed Swords 2 and Ironclad.

But just as a coincidence last night I was toying around with Mame 177 and 177 rom set and noticed that it has Crossed Swords 2 (hacked obviously) and Ironclad.
