I set the BB volume up and down buttons for my controller in BB but I don't see/hear any change in video volume when trying to use these buttons. I also have volume set in controller automation which does seem to work. I didn't think I would need to use the combo controller automation to adjust volume when in BB itself? Edit: I don't allow any settings for BB controller other than to navigate and select and back. This way when I let the kids mess with it, they don't get themselves royally screwed up. I'd like them to be able to set volume up and down as well without a combo. We're having a bunch of kids over for a xmas party this weekend, so I'd like to get this part nailed down. ckp Posted December 9, 2016 Author Share Posted December 9, 2016 I'm also thinking about copying my entire LB folder for the kid party and hide everything but some games I think they will like and leave the view in ALL games for all games and emulators. Maddoc1007 Posted December 10, 2016 Share Posted December 10, 2016 (edited) @ckp To get the volume buttons to work in BigBox i had to Setup up in Controller automation in LaunchBox a Hold Button then map the volume up button to a key and the volume down to another key, Then in BigBox i had to assign the same keys to volume up and volume down. Now to use it in BigBox you use the hold key and then press the key for volume up to raise volume and you use the hold button and press the volume down button to lower the volume see screenshots. I wanted to know how to use the volume up/down controller mappings that are not in controller automation settings so my kids can change volume while in BB interface without a combo press and hold like in controller automation. since the settings are there, i'm wondering if they work for anyone?
