angelobodetti
What emulator do you all use for Apple II? Came MESS or RetroArch emulate it? any help is appreciated
bundangdon
MESS/MAME seems to work just fine with Apple IIe games. Also AppleWin is a very good emulator and is still getting regular updates. Be sure to use "-f -d1" for the default command-line parameters Edited July 1, 2017 by bundangdon 1
angelobodetti
I get a print screen button error - any idea how to get rid of that?
angelobodetti
Fixed it - i needed the latest version of the AppleWin emulator and RocketLauncher takes care of the error. Thank you!
deleted user
The applewin default command line parameters that worked for me are "-no-printscreen-key -f -d1" This solves the common print screen problem and loads the games from disk. 1

fromlostdays
When using the fullscreen command, how do you exit the emulator? The only way I can get it to close is by pressing the windows key and closing from outside of it. Thanks!

fromlostdays
I google searched the forums but I used "Apple II" as the search, not "Applewin". Thanks for the redirect on this old thread. Works like a charm!

I just use the following in the "Running AutoHotKey Script" field, and press esc to exit: (and it seems to work fine) ; This section closes AppleWin when pressing Escape $Esc:: { Process, Close, {{{StartupEXE}}} } Edited July 22, 2019 by bundangdon

Jeff54
And...just another necro... I just set up a Apple 2 game using Applewin, was able to just set up with the newest Applewin version with no difficulty. I could not find a hotkey to simply turn off Applewin in full screen, and bundangdon's kept throwing errors for me in the latest launchbox and v. 2 Autohotkey. So I've used the script: #!Q::WinKill,A which links the button combo to WinAltQ to killing the program, which seems to work with no difficulty. Since this post came up first when I searched for Apple II emulation with Launchbox, thought I would post this here.
