I'd recommend that you use the Genesis Plus GX core. You can use the Picodrive core for 32x but I wouldn't recommend it for the other Sega Systems.

i tried to use the genesis pluss gx core i prefer it as well but it seems impossible for me to get the corect bios file could you upload the corect bios files somewhere and sent me the link to my facebook page?

Ok for some reason your bios are not being detected.

Go to Settings > Directory > System/ BIOS and make sure its pointing to your \retroarch\system\ folder, it isn't repoint it to it.

You want to extract the zip files, recommended to have each game in their own folder. Remove your Sega CD games from LB and re-import but only the files that you need to load in the emulator. With your disc images I am not sure which file that is but with cue + bin images you want to import the cue, not the bin.

Hi,

It's 2024 and I got the same problem with SEGA Mega CD Roms loaded on LB. They open nicely on Retroarch outside LB but inside LB the same drama I got like my colleagues adnagus and kostas.

I make sure regarding bios files and core files selected. All are correct and have no single problem. The SEGA CD roms are working fine outside LB environment.

I need help pleeeeeese.

The same solutions that applied back then would apply now.
Make sure you are using the same core in LB as you are in RA on it's own.
Make sure you imported the cue files into LB, not the bin files. Double check the games in LB that its pointing at a cue file.
Make sure that when you imported your games you told LB to leave your game files where they were instead of copying or moving them.

Thank you so much for your reply,

I did exactly what you said (to make sure pointing files are "cue" files, not "bin") but still I'm unable to open SEGA CD roms in LB, where I don't have any problem opening them in RA outside LB
