Alaska WIP

Some early animation tests for this theme based on the Alaska Kodi skin. Please excuse the choppy video, my work computer only has integrated graphics and struggles to run BigBox and record simultaneously.

 

And some static screenshots of one of the platform views that I have almost completed. Still have a few elements to add and some minor layout issues to address.

while you are sorta hear @Grila, any chance of any code to hide that black box behind the images in fundamental when using 3D Boxes?? 

Cheeky I know, but it bothers me on a otherwise perfect theme.

If I remember correctly it is caused by the way I have the rounded corners implemented. Instead of just using an image mask, since that doesn't work for horizontal and vertical covers, I did it another way that would work no matter what the size or layout of the cover was. The problem is that it expects the image to fill the entire area, thus the black background.

I can edit the view/views you need and replace them with just the normal cover image if you want, but if you switch from using the 3d covers you wont have the rounded corners anymore.

I use the 3D boxes on every platform. I'm not normally this ocd about things, but for some reason this bothers me.

You sir are a absolute legend. I still love to use that theme as its clean, with a good sized video window and a good sized game box window. But that black background........lol. thank you so much, and so sorry to hijack your new thread, ill remove these posts if you want?

If Grila himself hadn't posted the fun gorilla neither would I.  But since the topic owner did I didn't think it would be a issue.  But if told I will delete the monkey and the refresh gif which was just to show interest in theme ?
