Lprong
since the last couple of Citra updates Citra no longer launches through Launchbox (it crashes) but games run/launch directly from Citra was wondering if anyone has figured out the new command line yet.... Thanks for any input..
Retro808
Are you using nightly or canary build? I was using canary but past few weeks switched to nightly builds and have not had any issues loading. I just updated the latest nightly and no issues launching from Launchbox.
Lprong
I'm using the Canary build... going to work soon will try and change to the nightly and try that
Lordmonkus
Put this in the AutoHotkey Script tab for your Citra emulator in the Edit Emulators window. Sleep, 3000 SetKeyDelay, -1, 110 Send {F11} Return
Lprong
Copied and paste into AHK Script still crashes I'll try nightly build when i finish work.. Thanks
Retro808
It is definitely something with the Canary build that changed. I get a crash as well. Nightlies run fine.
ckp
i think the stand alone might be better anyway? is it crashing even launching through RA without LB - i would think so? doubt it's LB related.
Retro808
@ckp it is the standalone we are talking about. Citra creators must have altered something in the Canary build since that is technically the experimental build like Cutting Edge used to be. bundangdon
Has this topic been double-posted because I feel like i've answered/discussed the same issue about 1 week ago. The canary build of Citra had some significant changes made recently to its interface and with it, some new issues (such as this) have appeared. Lprong
hi have swapped to nightly builds and it works again thanks everyone.. bundangdon this was your reply to a comment the post left in Thoughts on Citra.. So no you did not previously answer the problem or discuss it as it only affects canary build not nightlys and no it was not a double post... 32-Bit GPU Members 133 413 posts Report post Posted Monday at 01:00 PM (edited) On 4/23/2018 at 12:38 PM, Lprong said: i'm having the same problem There seems to be some major changes made to the program's interface in windows in the last few 'nightly' updates, so it's very likely that some of this new code has affected other areas Edited Monday at 01:00 PM by bundangdon Quote
Retro808
Even if it was a double post it is not an issue. This forum does not frown upon things like that. Our ultimate goal is helping each of our members even if the same question is asked over and over. I truly apologize because I noticed the same name 'Lprong' on another post with the exact same issue, where similar answers were given but in fact, it originated from another (different) user. I wasn't try to be negative but just felt a bit frustrated because too often, I see users asking the same questions over and over again, only to ignore what answers are given. To get back to the subject though, the Canary builds seem to have some command line-related issues while the nightly versions seem to be okay at the moment. However, the Canary builds run at a much more 'playable' speed. So hopefully they'll get this issue fixed in the near future. cleberjorge
uncheck the single window mode option and leave only full screen mode in the emulator settings
