Lordmonkus
This would be dependent on the emulator you use if it's possible, I don't know if it is or isn't because I don't do Gameboy emulation.
Klopjero
I'm not aware of any gameboy emulator that will add false colors to the otherwise monochrome games. you could use a SNES emulator and play it through supergameboy but you will lose your save games. Kondorito
Not at home right now to check, but in Retroarch, using the Gambatte core, I believe there is an option for this. Quick Menu > Options > GB Colorization (or something like that).

But i dont want to download a new one because a will lose all my save files
DOS76
I don't think there are any emulators that make original GB games into full color.

Went to Quick Menu > Options > GB Colorization. Saw the GameFreak logo in green and the falling stars red. Pokemons are showing different colors as well. Both "Auto" and "GBC" settings for colorization show the colors as if you would plug the cartridge into a Game Boy Color. The Internal Palette option below lets you customize the palette if you don't want the default DMG one and want a particular one. neil9000
In fact it seems all my Pokemon roms are SGB enhanced, i don't have any standard Game Boy ones.

Thanks everyone for the help
DOS76
yeah if you have a game for the original GB there is no way to magically make it full color.
