Can't get the right platform logo to show on wheel

I had previously created a platform called "AAE" and setup AAE as the emulator, and set the "Scrape As" to Arcade and have about 20 some games here.  I also have a separate Mame platform just to complete the picture.

I've changed the platform Clear Logo in \images\Platforms\AAE\Clear Logo\ to something of my liking (an actual AAE logo).  LaunchBox shows this correctly in the thumbnails for the Edit platform.  But... Big Box always shows the platform image from my Arcade platform and not the one that is sitting there in the AAE folder.  This is frustrating as heck because my platform wheel has TWO Arcade logos on it, and it confuses the living daylights out of my kids.  Why is this happening?

EDIT:  I also did the "Refresh Platform Images..." in the Image Cache options in BigBox.  It did not fix the problem.

I really doubt you do, but can you confirm you don't have any images in \\Launchbox\Themes\XXX\Images\Platforms\Clear Logo\ (XXX would be the name of the theme you are using)

Also just out of curiosity, does removing the "Scrape As" on your AAE platform and then running Big Box correct the issue?

Are you using a theme other than the default?

Reason I ask is I had something similar happen and a theme stopped showing many of my chosen clear logos and the refresh would not fix it. What was odd was when I changed theme to the Default theme and refreshed the image it corrected it. When I then changed back to the theme I was using the logos were correct. This has happened a few times recently. Next time I will capture a video of it.

That did the trick, Retro!  I was using the Colorful Theme (beta 0.7).  Refreshing the platform image cache did nothing.  Switched back to the Default theme.  Platform image was incorrect in the default theme as well.  Did the Refresh platform image cache again, this fixed the Default theme.  Switched back to Colorful, and now Colorful shows the correct platform image.

Seems like there's a bug where refreshing platform images has no effect on custom themes!

@Xpendable Glad it worked for you as well.

I think it is something with how heavy Colorful is. Maybe something for lack of a better description is getting stuck and not allowing the image refresh. That is mainly the theme I get this issue with. All other theme’s I use or test with have not displayed this issue.

Notice the same issue here, using Colorful. Funnily enough, it was AAE (and CAVE) for me, as I went and got some better logos. @viking Launchbox supplied the system logo for AAE initially (it was just a replication of the "Arcade" logo) but the png image wasn't in the AAE platform/ clear logo folder. I guess Launchbox was looking in the arcade folder and replicating the arcade logo from there... Any idea why placing a clear logo in AAE/Clear Logo (previously empty) wouldn't update on media refresh when using Colorful?

Thanks!

Unfortunately, Retro, that isn't it.  It's not only an issue with Colorful.  I only started using Colorful last week.  I had been using several other themes previously, and they ALL have this issue.  I honestly think there's a bug here... I think refreshing the cache for platform images only works while on the Default theme.  That's what it looks like to me, at least.  Should be very easy to recreate the problem with several other themes.
