Retroarch with romcenter

I don't think you understand what Retroarch is, Retroarch is a frontend and it uses the libretro cores which are emulators. Retroarch itself just acts as the universal GUI for the cores / emulators and it also handles all the input and sound.

In this instance core and emulator are the exact same thing.

I think there is some confusion about what exactly you want to do.

My guess: Romcenter allows playing games directly and you want to use have it use Retroarch directly from there?
