Stuck on Remebering an Aracde Game

Hi All,

Hopefully someone can help with a game I got remember nor find on the internet the name of an arcade game. It was back in  the 90s  (I want to say roughly mid nineties), and it is a beat em'up but all I can remember are 2 characters.

One I believe was called Diesel and was a truck driver and when he punched, flames would appear and the other character was God (yes as in holy God) and when he punched his hands would turn golden.

 

Can't remember for the life of me the name of the game, hoping someone can.

when you say beat em up are you talking a side scroller like Final Fight, or a 1 on 1 like street fighter?

I've been trying to search in my arcade collection and google but I can't seem to find it. This was in the 90's correct? Are you sure about the memories, I mean the 90's where pretty wild lol ?

That was the only one I could think of... the boss character was named Dio, so I thought that might be it.

*edit*  Was it 2d or 3d?

I sometimes try to remember games, music, movies, etc... from years ago and by the time I figure out what they were, my memories turn out to be less than accurate... but it's nice when you can remember one.
