jordicris
Hello again. Some games don't work for me. In the Pang game I get a message saying that I am missing this: ym2413_instruments.bin (ym2413), and I don't know how to find this file. Could you help me? Thank you. The game in question is Pang. Thanks!

Thanks! All needed files are in the MAME fullset downloads. So either you are using the wrong version of the emulator for your romset, or you downloaded a random rom from the internet and are using the incorrect version of the emulator for it. Also we cannot share those files even if somebody had them as they are covered under copywrite.
neil9000
That also actually sounds like a bios file, there are hundreds of those for all different cabinets, so they are very important.
JoeViking245
Like Neil said, the 2 required files for "Pang" will be in your MAME fullset.
jordicris
Hello, well I don't know. I use the official version of Mame 0.233 and I download the roms from the planet Emulation website. Anyway, I don't know how I should solve this, but thank you very much anyway. Was it around 60GB or more in size, if not, then its random roms, and unless they specified the version number on the page, well you are a bit out of luck. Rom version MUST match emulator version, if you dont know your roms version that is then that is a issue.

I think at that site they are only at MAME version 0.198 (for roms) and that file was added with release 0.231. It's also a device file. Basically you'll have to find another source. Lordmonkus
Then you better get an updated rom set for it. You have 2 choices, match the rom set to your emulator or match the emulator to your rom set.

spycat
If all you want is that device then see Retroroms.
