Can't login to Epic Games account with latest version of Launchbox (12.14)

Hi Guys,

i get this error when i try to login to my Epic Games account. Did Epic change something regarding their API? Login on their website and also Epic Games launcher works by the way.

It's been a minute since I've used the Epic importer but it is very possible Epic changed something on their end. I'll try to run the import today and see if I can replicate the issue.

Thanks, just tried it again and had to solve a captcha all of a sudden. Never had this before, but got the same error again.

EDIT: Problem solved itself. I guess it was an error on Epics side. Thanks for looking into this @C-Beats

I also had this problem, but in addition I'm getting a Launchbox exception and the app crashes. Any idea why?

Known issue in 12.14 and earlier because of a change on Epic's end. You can upgrade to the current beta version (12.5 beta 2) to correct this issue.

Moved your post to this thread. There have been numerous posts on this. Latest beta fixes the issue. You can either opt into the beta (option is in LB Tools in the updates section) or wait until the stable release (ETA at this time unknown).

I saw a few posts on this from last September when people were on 11.7 and the issue was fixed on the next beta, however I'm on 12.4.  What could be the issue this time around?

The same thing, Epic changed things, and it is fixed in the current beta.

Merged with this thread. Latest beta has the fix. You can download the beta (option to opt-in to betas is in LB >Tools >Updates) or you can wait for the stable release (ETA unknown).
