The Papaw Posted November 11 Posted November 11 (edited) Setup: Win 10 BigBox beta 2 using default theme PS4 Dual Shock Controller (not that it matters, but light is white by default) - Not using any third party controller stuff RPCS3 Version: 0.0.38-18327-0bf9ee9f Alpha (latest today) I open Bigbox, select a game, goes to startup screen, light on controller turns blue when launching RPCS3 and game starts and controller works as it should. However, nothing functions concerning Bigbox after that point, no pause screen, natta. I hit ESC to kill game and close RPCS3 and controller still doesn't function in BB even after I click on it with mouse. I have to turn off the conroller, wait a second, turn it back on (light is white again, and it starts working again in Bigbox. Thought I'd report Edited November 11 by The Papaw Quote

Switched back to FFMeg and ran for 3 hours also. I never used to get crashes and haven’t had time to test thoroughly. I know one of the previous updates like 4-5 ago there was constant crashing but they fixed it and I had no crashing. Now I get occasional crashes. Hopefully the team can look into this and I can get more time to test. Quote
xokia Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Can we get an option to skip a specific update? I can choose not to install an update but then everytime I launch launchbox it wants to update what I previously said no to. 1 Quote
Jabb3rJaw Posted November 15 Posted November 15 Ok little more testing. I have not been able to get Bigbox to crash using WMP. Most of the time FFMeg will crash. I’m using Unified theme so maybe this theme works better with WMP or maybe it’s a beta issue not sure. Quote
The Papaw Posted Tuesday at 11:27 AM Posted Tuesday at 11:27 AM I noticed in v13.24 and betas. Showing amazon poster x2 1 Quote
Jabb3rJaw Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Just curious if the Launchbox team is aware of the constant crashing and if the logs provided are helping? I have attached another log after a crash using Refired theme and WMP. I have tried both WMP and FFMEG and both crash. I rolled back to 13.24 and same thing. It's pretty frustrating honestly and I'm just hoping it's being worked on. Thanks Debug 2025-11-26 05-39-56 PM.log Quote

We’re currently gearing up for the next round of this beta, which includes a new set of fixes. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to reproduce your specific crash just yet and so can’t guarantee that it will address this issue specifically, but rest assured that we’re reviewing all of the logs and reports shared here to help us pinpoint areas for improvement. We genuinely appreciate you taking the time to send them over. Thanks again for keeping the reports coming, and apologies for the recent lack of acknowledgment. We hope to have a new beta ready soon so we can continue narrowing these issues down. 1 Quote
