Maddoc1007 Posted Thursday at 04:43 PM Posted Thursday at 04:43 PM (edited) Here is a labour of love i have been working on and off with over the last few years sadly its not fully finished due to health reasons, I call it Concade (short for Consoles and Arcades) with this theme i try to bring every platform true to the actual arcade as possible where deemable. All artwork and theme construction in it was all created by me, hopefully later down the road i will be able to upload a fully completed theme. What pics below are just part of the arcade section hopefully i will be able to upload consoles etc later. To me this shows the true strength of Launch Bigbox being able to create individual themes per platform and have it all come together in a beautiful stunning showcase of an immersive gameing experiance. list in order Atari Classics, Examu Ex-Board, Irem Classics, Midway Classics, Konami E-Amusement, Namco Classics, NESiCAxLive, Raw Thrills, Sega Lindbergh(arcade doors open and close on each game select), Sega RingEdge, Sega RingEdge 2, Sega RingWide, SNK Classics, Taito Type X, Taito Type X2, Taito Type X3, Williams Classics. Ricodobermann Posted Thursday at 07:15 PM Posted Thursday at 07:15 PM (edited) Hi, I made a custom theme for BigBox. I used the default - theme and changed it to my likings. I Could never have done this on my own, which is why I used gemini. My main focus was to make it as minimalistic and snappy as I can. Therefor I disabled a lot of the functions/options. I know that this prevents the use of a lot of the features. But I like it very much. It took really some time to get it right. Here are some Screenshots. The textbox in the game-list-view scrolls automatically. The text starts every time from the beginning if you skip to a new game. L1 opens the 3d Boxart. R1 opens the star rating. I disabled the game detail screen. If I click on a game, it loads immediately. I wish you all a happy celebration week Stefan Edited Thursday at 07:28 PM by Ricodobermann Quote
Zoratsu Posted Thursday at 08:05 PM Posted Thursday at 08:05 PM Hi! This is a list of playlists I've been making of my personal collection and favorites games by genre or types of games called: Collections & Favorites. I'm specially proud of the Childhood Memberberries playlist which is a list of all the arcade games I played around town since I started gaming in 1980 until the early1990's which is what I consider my childhood memories. I was so surprised that the playlist went over 100 games, which immediately tells me that I had a good childhood and gives me a sense of happiness like no other. Thanks for reading and happy gaming! Originally from the U.S. but I live in Seoul now Really sorry to be a pest, @faeran I just watched the rebroadcast on YouTube which was quite entertaining but couldn't find/see/hear the contest entry code. I'm guessing that was somewhere on the Twitch website while it was being broadcasted? Edited Friday at 09:37 AM by bundangdon Quote

I'm guessing that was somewhere on the Twitch website while it was being broadcasted? It's displayed on screen midway, however those codes are only valid for around 24 hours so unfortunately it wouldn't work. I believe VODs aren't supported in Korea due to Twitch's presence there, but if you have access to a VPN I believe you can get it around it that way to check either yesterdays or today's stream (when that goes live later). Yesterdays steam will also be up on YouTube later today. Quote
Blackhaartz Posted Friday at 02:33 PM Posted Friday at 02:33 PM Here is my gaming setup; its kind of modest but it suits my needs. Let me explain my setup: 1) TV. I got my laptop plugged into it so I can get the console experience. No further explanation needed, but since the picture is so busy I thought I might as well call attention to it 2) My "Portable SteamBox" AKA a gaming laptop. I take it with me to my friends house for LAN gaming on the fly. It also feels good to be the guy who makes every get-together have the potential to be a LAN party no matter the location, even if it means 4 controllers connected to my little gaming laptop. It certainly beats bringing my tower + peripherals like in the old days 3) Wired controller. I tried using a wireless one which I would prefer, but I was getting noticeable micro-delays and I hated getting batteries all the time so its what I use. 4) Recliner. Puts all gaming chairs to shame. Once you get a recliner of your own, you can't go back to couch/chair gaming; its just too dang comfortable I am always looking for ways to improve my setup so please feel free to drop ways I can improve my setup 1 1 Quote

karlsnyder0 Posted Friday at 11:30 PM Posted Friday at 11:30 PM This is my second arcade, replacing my stand-up cabinet. It’s polished, works perfectly with the curved TV, and the pedestal even has a Stream Deck launcher with our favorites which mirror the Favorites category in Launchbox/BigBox! 1 Quote
MuddyWaters79 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Here is one instance of a custom BigBox build that I created with a custom Street Fighter 6 arcade! I have been using LB/BB for over 6 years and I love creating custom playlists! 1 Quote
JohnyWest Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) This is my handmade custom arcade cabinet, fully loaded with Launchbox and Bigbox. I must say, i realy love Bigbox. I went with a retro black / red design inspired by the old controllers of the commodore 64 and Amiga. Inside is a pc with Windows 11. Intel Core i7-11700K 32GB RAM 4TB SSD NVIDIA RTX A2000 12GB GPU 27" 4K monitor 2 x 4" Pioneer speakers and a Leppy 2.1 channel amplifier. It all runs like a dream.
