Well annoyed, I still do not know how to create a playlist but games appear on the left but in the middle box, nothing appears ...I should have the list of my playlists that appear as for platforms but nothing

I do not know how to edit the" default "of the middle of this fact I can nothing create, would I have missed a step?

Bueno trate de ver tus vídeos para crear mi primer tema, pero tengo un problema con las imágenes que no existen. agrego 2 fotos para explicarme mejor.

en la primera imagen existen para el juego arcade marquee, game cart y fanart. en la segunda como no existen me ponen otras imágenes como las que están marcadas en la foto.

mi pregunta es si puedo configurar eso, por ejemplo si no esta la marquee que ponga el clear logo o si no encuentra fanart que ponga el box front o ninguna imagen.

gracias por la ayuda y disculpa pero no hablo ingles.

Well I tried to watch your videos to create my first theme, but I have a problem with the images that do not exist. I add 2 photos to explain myself better.

In the first image there are for the arcade game marquee, game cart and fanart. in the second, as they do not exist, they put other images like those marked in the photo.

my question is if I can configure that, for example if it is not marked by the clear logo or if it cannot find fanart that puts the box front or no image.

One question, though... the playlists auto-generated by Launchbox (by right clicking on a platform and selection the option to generate child playlists) do not show up on the creator. Are they different to a normal manually created playlist?

i would have to try that myself as i have never created playlists that way

Veo que estás replicando CoinOps... yo he hecho lo mismo

Lo que puedes hacer es utilizar la opción de fallback para el componente imagen que colocas en la vista. Con esa opción puedes poner una imagen por defecto cuando no exista la que estás buscando. Lo que no se puede hacer (de momento) es utilizar de fallback otro tipo de imagen distinta (p.e. la caja frontal).

gracias @CMOSS por la ayuda, probare la opción que me dices para poner de momento alguna imagen personalizada.

por cierto me parece curioso que por ejemplo al no encontrar un tipo de imagen ponga una distinta dependiendo la imagen, por ejemplo. al no encontrar marquee ponga box front y al no encontrar fan art ponga clear logo.

revisare los xml haber si encuentro alguna pista.

Ese comportamiento que indicas tiene que ver con la configuración que tengas en Launchbox de prioridades de imagen.

El pantallazo de abajo es mi configuración. Si bigbox no encuentra la imagen para el frente de la caja (la opción marcada debajo) entonces va a ver la lista de prioridades. Empieza por orden: Primer box-front, luego box-front-reconstructed... y así hasta que da con una categoría para la que la imagen sí que existe... y esa es la que te saca en pantalla.

Estas prioridades las tienes que definir tú en tu configuración.

gracias maestro no tenia idea de esta configuración .

me estoy inspirando en coinops y el tema unified redux para mi primer tema. la verdad al no hablar ingles me ha costado un poco mirar los vídeos y ver las opciones del programa, así que me has ayudado mucho gracias.

Hi, and thanks for the editor! It's really nice and I have been finally doing my own theme with it.

I have one problem, that I can't solve myself right now. The text menus padding and border doesn't work correctly. The padding and border is adding width to the list items and they overflow the container. Here's an image.

 

The length of the text in your example is causing the overflow, I assume you don’t want the text to go to 2 lines

click on the text wheel properties and set wrapping to no wrap and trimming to character/word (your preference)

im trying to understand the problem you are conveying... the dots represent trimming as it cannot fit the letters "sell" into that row you can set trim to None and it will simply cut off with no dots or change trimming to word and you will get Nigel ….

Wait... are you using Preset 04 (or a copy and tweaked version) for the text style ?

Tweaked version. I added only padding to the listBoxItems.

I just updated the editor because there were issues with preset 04, you should download and re-tweak your style

Hmm, the problem did not get fixed. I added only the padding and color to your preset. Am I putting the padding value in the wrong place? I cant find any working samples from google

im afraid I dont know what you are trying to achieve so I cannot answer whether that's in the correct place or not.

Here's a picture to explain better. Not so goot at english... I just want empty space all around the listboxitems, like Jasons default theme.

That would require a code change and new spacing properties to be added to the text list, spacing properties would allow the spacing to go up/down based on the target resolution and not always fixed at say .. 10 

Hello, I have a little doubt, the '' Clear Logo '' of a '' Playlist '' of the Arcade category, it is not shown in the games view, instead it shows the Clear Logo of the Arcade platform. Is it possible to see the Clear Logo corresponding to the selected Playlist?
