no particular method. Just, I already had two commodore platforms added to my launchbox with videos I collected throughout the years. (from various sources - archive.org / emumovies / hyperspin / collections) So basically copying the vids in there and taking the highest quality ones for the new c64 dreams platform. Then using renamer to get rid of the extra tags in them to be able to use it in c64 dreams. I'll see if I can clean them up and upload a trimmed down version.

Anyone experience any issues with bigbox not having focus while exiting games? It doesn't matter which platform it is. I tested with Mame, Commodore 64, PS,... Whenever I exit a game I end up in the text details screen but have to use my mouse to click in the screen before I can use my controller to get back to previous screens. Can't say for sure when this first started. In 12.16 or 12.15 I am now on 12.16 beta 2 It's like the focus isn't on bigbox anymore after exiting any game. (cause a mouse click seems to resolve it. But since I use my controller...having to use a mouse every time I exit a game is a bit cumbersome.

This set fills the videos for 1291 C64 Dreams games. Just drop the folder 'C64 Dreams' in your launchbox\videos folder and you should be good to go. EDIT October 23th : Please use the updated and cleaned up set

Thank you Zombeaver. Nice to have those extra options through the configurator. Am now really looking forward to the next release of c64 dreams!!! Commodore C64 is major part of my childhood. To relive it through this great set and tremendous work of art of yours is really amazing and much appreciated. So my humble thanks to you Sir.

Nice one! Yes that could very well be the cause. I download missing screenshots from the internet and they do sometimes come in webp format. But very cool if you found a fix for that cause each time checking if a jpg was actually a webp and then converting it sounds like alot of work. Thanks a bundle!

the fix for blurry preview pics did manage to show some images which before didn't show. So definitely progress. However not all images show. Some preview images do show in the larger window, but in the smaller they show as black. I've also attached the images as zip so maybe you can better troubleshoot what is causing it. ruggnar.zip

For a very easy update from one set to another I think it's also worth mentioning you can achieve the same results with romvault https://www.romvault.com/ With the youtube tutorial I managed to easily update my sets and now achieve it with a few clicks and a little bit of time (scanning) The xml's to use you can easily find on the internet. I always download the xml/dat files from pleasuredome (see Then in Romvault you can seperately configure roms, chd's and software lists and start checking your set with your current version. For instance below, I was checking my current 244 mame roms (launchbox\games\mame) with the then latest 0.245 split set. (the xml file) After scanning you can see what is missing. Mine was fully updated from 0.244 to 0.245 with romvault so it now says missing :0 Just add a new folder (AddToSort) and point this to your mame 0.246 update sets (chd and roms) and click find fixes. Thats the short version. However I suggest to watch the tutorial beforehand.

So, under Extra Command-Line Parameters you can put either one of the following : -f -fullscreen --fullscreen Those all work to launch retroarch in fullscreen mode.

Hi Zombeaver...what's the latest status working towards v0.60? Last u mentioned u were working through "P" and at 62%.

in the edit game/media screen I cannot select the image as '3D cart' it always reverts to 'advertisement flyer' don't know if this already was like this in version 11?

You can split them up. For instance : 3D Grand Prix & Who Dares Win 2 Import the same rom 2 times. (check the box that makes sure LB imports duplicate files) But once with the name 3D Grand Prix And once with the name Who Dares Win 2 That way, it will get parsed and each item in launchbox gets its images but it's still the same rom but then imported twice. Only advisable if there are not many of them cause it can take alot of work going through all of them

Tested with Retroarch 1.10.3 and mesen_s libreto core and all MSU-1 games tested and playable. I've extracted all zips in seperate folders and use the .sfc file from within launchbox to run the game. Zips also do work but I remember an issue with one or two games??
