  1. Yeah. As long as the files are named correctly you can manually put them in the appropriate folders yourself and the app will use them.
  2. The default PlatformMarqueeView doesn't play video like you're describing but you should be able to theme a marquee view that does.
  3. The file you need to change to alter the "Details" section of the Platform/Filter views is FilterDetailsView. The one for Games is GameDetailsView. In there you can reorder any of the fields, or give them different headers if you so desire. If you take a look at the views for Default you will see how to split fields up a bit easier than you will using older themes.
  4. Known issue in 12.14 and earlier because of a change on Epic's end. You can upgrade to the current beta version (12.5 beta 2) to correct this issue.
  5. Make sure in Controller Mappings within LaunchBox (or Big Box, which ever you're launching your game from) that "Close Active Window" binding isn't bound to that combination

    video snap

Video snaps are typically found on EmuMovies. We don't host any ourselves. Downloading them from EmuMovies does require a paid account on their end though. Once you have said account you can enter your credentials into LaunchBox and download from the Import wizards or the Download Metadata and Media wizard.

    NES.EMU Help

Unsure what your issue was previously but 1.5 does have some logic in it to help with .EMU emulators. I believe most of them were related to weird interaction issues they had with LaunchBox when closing the emulator. Really though I'd just bite the bullet and set up RetroArch for basically any system it emulates as it just does it better.
  8. To my knowledge the only video cards known to have issues with rendering WPF applications correctly (like Big Box) are 11th gen+ Intel integrated graphics cards.
  9. For Steam videos to play with WMP backend you need to install the .webm codec on your computer for Windows Media Player. Once you do that they should play.
  10. This is a known issue not related to the beta. Next beta release will make the process fail more gracefully. Epic just recently (like a day or two ago) changed how their backend handles authentication and we need to find a new way to get the SSO to log in correctly.
  11. Those splash screen are just an element in the traditional view with their opacity animated from 100% to 0%. I believe @faeran has posted his CTC files for the newest version of CoverBox as well which could help you. The views you are looking for are in the \\LaunchBox\Themes\CoverBox\Views\TextGamesView\ folder
  12. I'll take a look before next beta release and see if I can replicate (and hopefully have it corrected if I can)
  13. @Drybonz Thanks for that. Seems that some of the images have bad DPI metadata and is causing issues. I believe I have found a fix I can implement for it and will start testing it make sure it doesn't break any other previously working images. If it passes the test the revision will be in the next beta.
  14. Was able to confirm a bug with the popup and get the issue resolved. Will be fixed in the next beta release.
  15. @Retrofrogg I looked into your Playlist video issue and did find a bug as reported. The issue has been corrected internally and will be in the next beta release. Thanks for the report.
  16. Are you running an Intel Iris XE integrated GPU? I know they have a driver issue that causes similar issues right now. Could either turn off hardware acceleration as Faeran suggests or use Microsoft's generic display driver instead of Intel's driver.
  17. Yeah, if you could show it and explain your work around that'd help quite a bit. Not trying to be rude, just trying to get as much information as we can from you since you're the only Odin user we have reporting this issue.
  18. What Odin model are you on, and what OTA version?
  19. @Ryez Please do the following: Open Steam Client On the upper bar that has the Store and Library menu items click the one that is your account name In the context menu that appears press Profile In the profile window that now loads in the upper right is an "Edit Profile" button, press that In the page you are now on is a TextBox with the label Custom Url, set that to whatever value you want Return to LaunchBox and put the Custom URL value you just entered into the text box asking you for your Steam ID Finish running the wizard (assuming your game list is already public)
  20. These images are probably the images provided by the LaunchBox app (Banners and Clear Logo). LaunchBox will automatically apply the image to that image type if it doesn't find any images already added. This is a feature, not a bug. That's called a Focus state which helps show that the control has keyboard focus (also allows screen readers to realize what they need to try and read). You would need to make changes to your theme to display a border like that when the item is selected.
  21. Pretty sure we put code in place to help with that at some point. Still there are a lot of legacy images (mostly from EmuMovies) that have bad data in them causing issues. Next time you see it could you take a screenshot and post it so I can review and ensure we are talking about the same thing?
  22. Sounds to me like you may have some buttons sticking making the button be held down when LaunchBox gets focus and thus selecting the game again. I know now that I have been using my Odin Pro for a while I'm having issues with the B button get stuck down quite a bit.
  23. Only two we have for that view is "Recent" and "Favorites" (if enabled via options). Only way to see all games is to select that platform which then shows you all games for that platform in a new view
  24. This is almost always caused by a service running called "nahimic". Please open Task Manager and go to the services tab and see if it is listed there, and if so disable it. Then restart Big Box and you should see things correctly again.
