  1. All of that is stored in the files Neil mentioned. Backing up the Data folder is all that's needed.
  2. Probably need to reset you wheel image cache in Big Box Options (Image Cache page)
  3. Disregard, I was able to replicate with my data and have found the issue. It will be corrected in the next release.
  4. I have looked into the reported issue with Details not showing correctly when coming back to platform view and found the cause. When pressing select while the details transition is still playing it would leave the platform in a bad state when returning to it leaving some elements unloaded. I have a correction in place and will be in the next release. Thanks all for the reports and extra information.
  5. All your previous installers should be found in \\LaunchBox\Updates folder. You can safely downgrade your version without losing any of your data. If you can't find the version you need email support and explain your situation and they should be able to get you the installer.
  6. Can you try to do the following for me and let me know if it corrects the issue you're seeing? Open LaunchBox Go to Tools > Options Go to the Visuals > Filter Side Bar page Enable "Show Counts" and press OK Go to the Platform Category sidebar filter Select the category whose number is incorrect See if the number is correct there Close LaunchBox See if the metadata is present now in Big Box
  7. Click the GamesDB link at the top of this page to get to our database website. Login there (your account/credentials are unique to that site and are NOT the same as your forum account). From that website you can find update and add games. Updating games you do from that game page.
  8. All the packaged logos are generated for you in a very specific circumstance. If the application is asking the platform it's clear logo, and one cannot be found in the file structure, we look through the packaged logos. If we have a packaged logo for that platform we save it to file for you and then use that. If you already have a logo for on of the updated platforms then you won't see the new logo. If you haven't imported/created any of the new platforms you will also not see their logos. All the logo's we provide ARE packaged inside of the application though, no additional downloads are needed. Also to note that if you're wanting the new logos to appear in Big Box you will need to clear your image cache after the logo has been updated.
  9. Could you put your entire data folder into a zip file and PM it to me. I'll see if I can determine what's going on.
  10. Best to email support@unbrokensoftware.com with any license issues or questions as they can look up the specifics of your purchase and give you the most correct information. The one-year premium license is good for all releases that came out before your license expiration date. You can use your license forever as long you use the last version before your license expired. If you want to use a newer version you can, you will just lose premium features until you get a new license that works with that release (either another year license, or permanent).
  11. If you're referring to RA core settings that is store in RetroArch folder and isn't managed by LaunchBox at all.
  12. Both entries I'm referring to I believe are error logs. You get the error log you posted then another with the actual error text (which is in neither of the logs you posted)
  13. Typically this is caused by a bad refresh rate being set by RetroArch or your monitor. Make sure you are running at full framerate and at least at 60hz

  15. 1) I've seen it reported a few times now and is on the short list to see if I can replicate and correct for next version. What theme are you running? May help in identifying the cause of the issue. 2-3) This is caused because you are still caching images. You can force the image cache in the options menu to help reduce this. I will warn you that depending on your setup this can take a WHILE and should treated as an overnight task in most cases 4) That is all determined by your theme. Typically though no they play the videos in the video section and treat it the same regardless of the type of video 5) If manually correcting yes, but our process should be able to find those regional differences and name the files appropriately. That being said we expect region data to be in parens so if it isn't that could cause issues. 6) that is set up entirely by the uploader
  16. You could copy the view and make a platform specific override to change the border image to be 16:9 so that it works with your videos. This would require manually altering the XAML files though.
  17. Just mean physically press the button causing the issue. For that side menu you'd press the left shoulder button or press the left trigger and it should stop (or does on my device when I have the issue).
  18. As Neil stated that is working as intended. When first entering a sidebar value the default background is used as you're seeing. You can however change that in the options. What you see in ETA Primes video is that he uses his desktop wallpaper as his background instead of LaunchBox's default one
  19. If you have 600+ gb of MAME games you probably grabbed them from the wrong spot or have a bunch of useless CHD files bloating your install. Full non-merged set is something like 125gb as far as I remember
  20. This is typically caused when you first open up the app in the "Games Missing Media" sidebar filter. Change the filter before closing the app and it should correct this.
  21. There is a hidden field we have set in the data that stores the GOG App Id of the game that is used when launching from GOG Galaxy
  22. There are a lot of things that can affect this. The most common two are: You have a media limit set and have reached the limit for that image type You already have the image (CRC's match)
  23. @moudrost when you see the app has hard crashed to the desktop could you please look in Windows Event Viewer in the application logs for the error log that would have been generated. There will be two for each crash, one tends to have an actual error code, the other is just a log saying it crashed. Could you send us a copy of the log with the error? This will help quite a bit in discovering what is causing the crash on your system so as we move forward we can do a better job identifying and addressing it.
  24. You don't have the ability to manually change the height of that section of the control. To do so you'd need to scale the whole thing up and then scale the preview items down. This would result in the preview image/section becoming bigger and making the preview items stay the same.
