Try checking the box to use MAME metadata in the import.
  2. This particular issue being discussed here has nothing to do with videos on the startup screens.
  3. Yeah, that would be another issue with restarting the emulator. But I don't think that's a good plan to begin with.
  4. Closing the emulator would not at all be a good idea here, because I can see it now: people will lose scores as a result. That said, I am planning to look into the option to show *previous* high scores in the pause screen. Regardess, no matter what, it's impossible to show the current ones that were just achieved in the pause screen. I still think it's valuable though to show previous scores, because that's what you'll be competing against.
  5. Good find. I'll address this for the next beta. Strangely, I can't seem to replicate this on my machines. I think someone reported it a while ago, but I've never been able to replicate it. Must be some weird video driver crap I guess. I'll do some more testing later on, but at this point I don't have a fix because I can't seem to make it happen.
  6. If it works with Microsoft Edge, then it sounds like a configuration issue on that computer, not any issues with your modem. What other browsers are you testing with? Are they up to date?
  7. Try a different browser on the computer that isn't working. Might help narrow it down.
  8. What video playback engine is that?
  9. I'm not really sure what you mean here by "blow up the video".
  10. Apparently there's some faulty info out there. There are at least a couple other apps using the LaunchBox Games Database already. This just simply isn't true lol. I don't know how you can look at the metadata package and conclude that, since it includes metadata for all of the images. It includes the image file names, which can be easily used to construct a URL. The IDs don't have to match up to the website URLs; they only have to match up to the rest of the metadata in the zip.
  11. I think this is just how Windows works. In order to support controllers, we have to poll/read the controllers. That in itself keeps the computer awake. Unfortunately there's nothing we can do about that, that I'm aware of.
  12. Beta 7 is out now with high scores support for Flicky, my favorite arcade game (thanks to GreatStone, the developer of hi2txt). We've also got pretty close to all of the default high scores dumped, so default high scores showing up should be a thing of the past.
  13. That was all @C-Beats.
  14. No worries.
  15. Can you give me more details on that? Have you checked your background image priorities? We did add some for Epic this go-around. You might need to uncheck them if you prefer not to use image backgrounds.
  16. Thanks @LordEvyl; this is on my list to review. Hopefully I can soon.
  17. I've tested this and I can replicate it, so I can confirm it's an issue. It's on my list; hopefully I can get to it soon.
  18. Thanks @PhuriousGeorge; I checked out your log file. By chance, do you have any Steam-related plugins installed? Or any plugins of any kind? If so, can you try removing them and then trying to import again? Not quite following you here. When I go to the second URL you've provided above in my browser, the site gives me a 404 not found error. The first one works fine however. For example: http://steamcommunity.com/id/deepest_seed - Works https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/deepest_seed - 404 Not Found What are the specific links for your profile?
  19. Hi guys, I think we've found the culprit here. Please update to version 10.12-beta-6 and let us know if it resolves the issue for you.
  20. Hi @Hovis, by chance are you using a hard drive seller's collection or a downloaded collection? I ask because we're confused how you'd be getting that error to begin with. That said, we did make a change in the latest beta (10.12-beta-6) that might help with this. Can you update to the latest beta and check?
  21. We do have screenscraper.fr on our list, but it hasn't been a common request or a priority at this point. Noted though.
  22. Beta 6 is out now with the following: New Feature: An import process for Epic Games has been added under Tools > Import > Epic Games; it works similarly to the latest Steam and GOG imports. New image types have also been added for the media that can be scraped directly from Epic, and metadata is available for Developer and Notes. Improvement: The startup process that was associating games with GOG was moved to Tools > Options > Integrations > GOG and will no longer be automatically run on startup. Under most circumstances it was a very quick process, but some users were seeing significant startup time increases as a result. Improvement: The Steam import wizard now allows you to choose which platform to import to Fixed: Rare divide by zero error with the updates to the Clean Up Media tool Fixed: Scanning the root of a drive for GOG games was throwing errors when hitting hidden/system folders
  23. Thank you very much, @eatkinola.
  24. I would like to see it expanded as well, but of course the only barrier is the time and effort required to make it happen. It's on my list, but not currently a super-high priority.
  25. @Johnseye If you remove the /Android/data/com.unbrokensoftware.launchbox folder from internal storage, then LaunchBox should automatically find the one on your external on startup.
