  1. @amino Are you using a special build of Retroarch for this somehow? Where did you get your version of Retroarch?
  2. Hi @Squarmy209, what file extension are the ROM files for both of those platforms?
  3. Hi @Shermo, I've noted this; hopefully I can take a look at the Play! emulator here soon.
  4. Can you try this again Wanderer? Not sure what might be happening here, but there's not a whole lot we can do, sadly. There is an update available though so maybe that will fix it; we can update the forums here soon.
  5. Okay, thanks. In that case, I'll trust that it was a one-off issue.
  6. Beta 10 is out now with the following: Improvement: LaunchBox and Big Box startup times have been significantly reduced (though the first launch of this beta may be longer) Various minor fixes and improvements for the Big Box MAME high scores popup MAME high scores can now be displayed on the pause screens (though they will NOT update while the game is running due to a limitation of MAME) A new badge has been created for MAME high scores A new Arrange By value has been created for MAME high scores
  7. Okay, I'll look into that plugin and see if I can figure anything out. This will be on @C-Beats to look into.
  8. Yeah, that's feasible, sans for the confusion surrounding any changes done on retroachievements.org. As for now, I think we'll leave it out. We are hoping to revamp things significantly once the next version of the retroachievements.org API comes out, but we don't really know when that will be.
  9. This security is left up to Epic. We will not be storing your Epic credentials in LaunchBox (dumb idea security-wise), so that's the best we can do here. I'm guessing the storefront doesn't think those games are installed for some reason? What storefront is it?
  10. Okay, now I'm thoroughly confused. I looked at the XAML that references the High Scores plugin, and none of it is correct. If you download the latest version of the high scores plugin from the forums, nothing matches up to what you have referenced in the XAML. Are there two different plugins or something?
  11. If you rolled back to beta 8 and still get the errors, then most likely the plugin files somehow went missing. That's exactly what the errors are claiming as well. Can you look in your LaunchBox\Plugins folder for the MAME high scores plugin? They could also be found in the Theme's Plugins folder.
  12. We definitely have to wrap up the top 20 items on the last poll first. We're making good headway, but there's still a lot of items on the list. The problem is, I can't figure out what's going on without the theme. Whatever the issue is seems to be specific to that or those themes. Maybe you can PM me the theme without the media portions? It's really just the XAML files that I need.
  13. Unfortunately, if you turn on uploading your high scores, you won't be able to save. That's the only way to do it securely. Save states tend to mess with the whole system anyways.
  14. These errors are puzzling. They're acting like it can't find the MAME High Scores plugin; we haven't done anything that should remove or interfere with it though. Did you modify those themes yourself? If so, can you send me a copy of the themes?
  15. FYI, this was fixed in a recent beta release.
  16. Beta 9 is out now with the following: A new MAME community high scores popup is now available in Big Box, either via the game details menu or the new keyboard and controller bindings Added some anti-cheat measures to the MAME high scores system, including disabling save states and only uploading newly achieved high scores
  17. We haven't done anything to fix this, so it's probably just a fluke. Still haven't been able to replicate it.
  18. Interesting, first I've heard of that. I'll note it and take a look if it ever comes up again.
  19. Yeah, though it's worth noting that it's relatively easy to create badges/filters/etc. for games that *support* the high scores, so I am planning to do that eventually. Eventually I expect most everything that supports high scores will have at least some high scores anyways, so that shouldn't be a big deal. That said, there is no good way to do that for retro achievements.
  20. The database is open, so feel free.

There should be two separate options, one to use MAME metadata, and one to specify whether it's a full MAME set. Make sure you check the box to use MAME metadata, and uncheck the box for full MAME set.
  22. Sorry for any trouble there. As long as you have any previously purchased license file, you should be able to upgrade on the upgrade page for the previous price. Are you seeing issues with that?
  23. Beta 8 is out now with the following: Improvement: Filters for auto-generated playlists are now available for Steam, GOG, and Epic Games, which let you easily filter your Windows platform into child Steam, GOG, and Epic Games playlists Fixed: Startup screens startup delay was not working for Steam games when running them from Big Box Fixed: MAME high scores error when no Internet connection is available
  24. I'm not sure about Rocket Launcher, but that may prove to be more difficult than we tackle for this version. I have it on my list, but it may or may not work out, as with Retroarch. Retroarch MAME is currently a higher priority for this feature than Rocket Launcher.
  25. This sounds a lot like Rocket Launcher. To be honest, I think if you want that granular level of control, Rocket Launcher would be your best bet.
