  1. Thank you all very much. @Cauptain Happen to know where the background image on your graphic came from?
  2. In the latest beta I added the option to turn off dynamic box sizing, which should revert this functionality to 10.7.
  3. It's hard to know what's happening without seeing the details of the particular use case, but it should be attempting to match the downloaded image to the ROM file's region (if it has one).
  4. I'm not positive, but I don't think we're having an issue here with the forums. Maybe try clearing out your cookies?
  5. Beta 3 is out now with a fix for the aforementioned issue with getting stuck while scrolling up, and 720p support for the Retro Achievements profile in Big Box.
  6. FYI, just found a bug with the dynamically-sized boxes scrolling up fixes, which is causing scrolling up to occasionally get stuck. Working on a fix.
  7. Yes, not all platforms have emulators that work on Android. If you know of an Atomiswave one that works, let us know and we can get it added.
  8. Sorry for rushing here guys, but we're already looking to put out the 10.10 release on Monday, so if you're available to translate before then, it would be good to get the updates in. Translation packages and release notes have all been updated. @Opak @cyanjiang @Bardock @MajKSA @gamehacker @Cauptain @Kondorito @Nyny77 @alexposad @k_kutsugi @dukeemu Thank you all very, very much.
  9. Thank you @alexposad; I have these updates in for 10.10-beta-2.
  10. Beta 2 is out now with the following: New Feature: The Clean Up Media tool has been overhauled to show the user what files were found to delete and allow you to keep some of the files if desired New Feature: LaunchBox will now automatically create multi-disc M3U playlist files for emulators/cores that support it. You can enable this feature under Tools > Manage Emulators in the Associated Platforms tab. Known Retroarch cores that have m3u support are mednafen_saturn_libretro, mednafen_psx_libretro, and flycast_libretro. New Feature: The new dynamic box sizing features can now be disabled under Tools > Options > Visuals > Boxes. Extra empty space will be back in the boxes view, but scroll positions are better maintained when editing, deleting, and repopulating boxes. Fixed: In some circumstances the boxes were jumping/jittering slightly while scrolling up in the boxes view with dynamic box sizing enabled Due to the improvements to the new default theme, we're planning on putting out the 10.10 release sooner rather than later (shooting for Monday). Any testing you guys can do on the new Clean Up Media and M3U features would be appreciated. Also, if you can confirm that any additional cores or emulators work properly with the automatic M3U creation, please let us know.
  11. We are working on this to hopefully get things squared away for 720p. They were previously for Big Box, but they are now for LaunchBox as well.
  12. Hi @viking, there were quite a few games in the period that supported both Windows 95+ and DOS, but games in the MS-DOS category definitely need to be supported under DOS. DOSBox does support various versions of Windows if you hack at it, but that's not what it was meant to do, so we should focus on true MS-DOS games only for any DOS videos.
  13. @viking Sure, here you go:
  14. Gotcha. I'll see if I can't get that in there at some point. Sorry to hear about those errors; I'm honestly lost on why they would be happening, but the errors appear to be errors with Visual Basic for DOS itself, which the old version was developed with. For that reason it seems like it's an issue with that version of DOSBox, though I can't for sure.
  15. What do you mean by mode 80 support? I'm currently testing all the way down to a CGA graphics card and monitor.
  16. I actually have a rewrite in development, written from scratch in 8086 assembly. I have it working even on the original IBM 5150 PC. Development is slow-going though and I'm only doing it in my free time, so it'll be a while yet.
  17. We were using WPF to do the blur, but it was way too much of a performance killer, no matter what we did. So now we're simply just blurring the background image once manually via a multi-threaded CPU-driven Gaussian blur, saving the image, and then using that image in the XAML. So unfortunately I don't have a solution for videos.
  18. This is still on the list, but isn't in the immediate plans. We'll get to it eventually though.
  19. I'll review this eventually, yes. I'm guessing this is because the Fire Stick uses an ancient version of Android, but hopefully I can find a workaround.
  20. Just clarifying here that 10.10-beta-1 (which I just put out) should fix any and all performance issues as compared to the old default theme.
  21. 10.10-beta-1 is out now with the following: New Feature: Background blurring can now be fine tuned to any amount (or easily turned off) under Tools > Options > Visuals > Backgrounds. Background blurring options are also now available for all themes, including the old default theme. Improvement: Performance for the new default theme is now on par with the old default theme. We're using a completely new method to blur the backgrounds, since the old method was causing performance degradation. Improvement: Box shadows for the new default theme can be disabled under Tools > Options > Visuals > Boxes in order to improve performance on lowend systems Improvement: Numbers sections of titles will now be sorted numerically by default, instead of alphabetically. For example, the new logic will sort 1, 2, and 11 as 1, 2, 11 instead of the 1, 11, 2 order that was used previously. Fixed: In Big Box, the retro achievements game details web view can now be zoomed in and out with the proper bindings We've also added the manifest to supposedly support long path names, but we haven't been able to test and confirm that it's working. If anyone can confirm either way on this, please let us know.
  22. We're working on a bunch of things at the moment, including editing games. I don't have a time frame to report, but those types of features are definitely on the way.
  23. Happy to give you a refund then. Just email us at support@unbrokensoftware.com with your order ID from the Play Store.
  24. This does make sense. Media is used so heavily in LaunchBox/Big Box that generally it's not recommended to put any media in a network location, as it's cause for performance issues (and potentially stability issues as well). ROMs do work fine over the network, but media is not recommended. That said, if you would, please create a BitBucket ticket for this, and we'll address it when we can, based on feedback. Thanks!
  25. Most often issues like this are caused by faulty video drivers, but it's hard to pinpoint. The pause screens use Windows APIs and methods that are not commonly used, because they have to, just by nature. That's one of the reasons why we held off on implementing them for so long, because they require semi-hacks by nature and can't be implemented any other way. So generally, unfortunately there's not a whole lot we can do to fix one-off issues on certain machines like that. Most likely it is a video driver issue, but it's going to be impossible for us to look into it without having your specific hardware, unfortunately.
