LaunchBox for MS-DOS Special Edition
By Jason Carr
Native Launcher for MS-DOS
LaunchBox for MS-DOS 2.0 is here! If you run MS-DOS (or the DOS console in Windows 95/98), this should be very much enjoyed. It allows you to easily sort through and manage your games/apps within DOS, without taking any extra memory from your apps or introducing any compatibility issues at all. This is done via a simple batch file that starts up and shuts down the launcher as needed.
LaunchBox for MS-DOS also works very well with DOSBox if you'd like to use a menu system inside of DOSBox.
System Requirements
MS-DOS 3.30 or higher
286 or higher CPU (uses 286 CPU instructions)
Installation
Unzip the zip file and place the contents onto a floppy disk or other media. Copy the four files into a folder on your hard disk (or just keep it on the floppy, it runs from the floppy as well). Navigate to the folder with the files and run LAUNCH.BAT.
LAUNCH.BAT can also be called from your AUTOEXEC.BAT file if you'd like LaunchBox to start on boot. You can then add Windows 3.1 or 95/98 to LaunchBox in order to optionally start up Windows by just browsing for WIN.COM.

LaunchBox Logos - Professionally Remastered & Revised
By Dan Patrick
While I am not the original creator of the LaunchBox / BigBox logos, I have the best versions available in this collection. After roughly 30 hours, I have redrawn and perfected the recognizable cube shape and have multiple variants for multiple use cases.
All previously used versions are available here, as well as new versions that are slightly different. All my drawings use perspective correct line work making these the best versions of these logos. They come in three sizes Small (1920x1080 max), Large (3840x2160 max) and SVG which is a vector file type. A lot of the BigBox logos can’t be properly saved in SVG format so I included vector PDFs for all logos as well.
The LaunchBox logo had some uneven shapes which I corrected. In addition, I noticed the entire LaunchBox logo is not a perfect cube. Its sides are actually rectangles. I never noticed this until now. Once I saw it, I created a separate perspective correct version. I created a further revised version as well, with thicker lines, consistent line widths and punchier colors.
The same standard goes for the BigBox logos. The thicker LB logo also has a glass BigBox variant which took a solid amount of work to get right. I really tried to make the glass thick enough to not be too busy and easily visible large or small. I went back and forth on every shade of every gradient until I felt it looked pretty good against dark and light backgrounds.
The only versions that are official are the original taller designs. I wanted to improve them as much as I could while still keeping all of the artist’s intent. Feel free to use these how you’d like. I’ll always appreciate credit.

launchbox logo Unofficial Launchbox Transparent PNG & SVG Logos - By JamesAndersonJr
I made these unofficial renders of the Official LaunchBox logo complete with transparent backgrounds. The SVG version is fully scalable without distortions, and is not simply an embedded PNG. It is true geometry (as seen if opened with a standard text editor).
They took a few hours to create, but it was a side project. So, although the logo itself is likely a copyrighted asset, courtesy Unbroken Software, LLC., my work accomplished is 100% free to use. Some form of credit would be nice, though it is not required.
Enjoy!
P.S. Feedback is Welcome!

Launchbox Icon
By N3ONⱣɄNƘ
I made this custom Launchbox icon for personal use and wanted to share it with the community. I wish I had more to give but it's a small gesture to say thanks for all your help and making this the best frontend on the market.
Also I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong section but I did not find an option for icons.

LaunchBox Logo Mosaic
By Grizzer
Had an idea to make a LaunchBox logo but in a kind of a mosaic style out of Blue, Red, Yellow and Purple box art.
There are Atari 2600, Itellivision, NES, Wii, PS2, and a few assorted Arcade flyers mixed in as well.
I included several filtered designs also.
This is nothing special (my photoshop skills are severely lacking) just something I made for some desktop wallpaper.
Enjoy

BigBox Vector Logo
By tycho
I grabbed a high-res PNG of the BigBox logo and converted it to vector format. Here's what you get in all these PDFs:
Full color logo with black text Full color logo with white text Black text only Cube only Translucent blue overlay only* Translucent blue overlay segments (total of 3)* These can be used however you want; the reason I broke the elements out is for animation purposes. Enjoy!
*If your overlays don't look right for some reason, set your blending mode to "Hard Light" and opacity to 75%.

Big Box Wallpapers for loading time
By Kondorito
I made these wallpapers so when my Windows session starts and goes into BigBox, the transition is seamless. I figured why not share them with the community, as somebody might find them useful.
Remove/hide the icons from your desktop, hide the taskbar and mouse cursor, and you are good to go.
