  1. The 32-bit sideloaded version of Retroarch should have a recent MAME core.
  2. Thanks @Beatlemaniac19, I'll check on that. I think I remember that issue from a long time ago, but it may not be an easy one to solve, if I recall correctly. Per the number sorting, somewhere around the release of Vista, Microsoft introduced a much more complicated sorting algorithm that does sort entire numbers instead of just characters. I agree that it would be an improvement (though it's an irritatingly difficult thing to tackle). I can't say it's a high priority, but I will add it to my list.
  3. I see. On Android, the MAME/arcade importer does not currently handle non-arcade platforms. So I suspect that's what you're running into. It currently only works properly for the arcade MAME sets. The latest one would be the best one to use, but it should still work well enough with relatively recent sets.
  4. I noticed a new version of Yaba came out a while ago. Has anyone tested to see if the new version is working properly?
  5. Sorry for the delay here @Gens81. I do have VGBANext on my list of emulators to add.
  6. Or just go to the folder that contains your EXE files in Windows Explorer, search for *.exe, select all of them and drag them over to LaunchBox.
  7. Oh, I see what you mean. I can review, but it's working well for me for MAME games (which is what it's meant for). What type of set are you importing?
  8. Hmm, good to know. Thanks dino. I'm unfortunately doubtful that there's much we can do, since all we're doing is launching the emulators via Android's recommended APIs. It may be just an Android restriction, unfortunately.
  9. I believe it should work to export them as-is. The Android app does now allow you launch additional apps, so you should be good that way.
  10. If you're having trouble, make sure the app is completely closed, and make sure you've successfully imported a platform before moving the folder. That should make it stick.
  11. Hi wickerman, no, playlists aren't supported yet on Android. How are you testing arcade filters (I didn't think they were possible at the moment)? Eventually we'll add support for playlists and renaming platforms, which I think should provide that functionality for you. It may be a bit yet though.
  12. Hi synchro, officially, yes, the $30 forever upgrade would be your only good option. If you really want to renew for $10 though, go ahead and just email us at support@unbrokensoftware.com after you purchase the renewal and we can get you a new license with a year's worth of upgrades.
  13. Beta 4 is out now with the following: Fixed manual not always working properly on the pause screen (introduced in previous beta) Fixed profile pics not always showing up for leaderboards and such (hopefully fixed, not positive, let us know) Added key and controller bindings in Big Box for showing the achievements profile Fixed achievements not showing up in other themes
  14. Hmm, ugh, I didn't think of that. I think the image paths are hardcoded in the XML. Unfortunately the best course of action for the moment is probably to just delete the platform and re-import. When you re-import, it shouldn't re-download any images; I think it should pick up the images that are already there. Make sure you don't delete *all* the platforms at once though, or it will revert back to the internal storage.
  15. This can sometimes happen briefly when you scroll down to the bottom without letting the items above load up. It has to do with the dynamically sized boxes and the sizes of the boxes changing when they're loaded up. There's really no way around it without removing the dynamic box functionality, or ruining performance.
  16. Yup, the /Android/data/com.unbrokensoftware.launchbox folder. Move it to the exact same location on your SD card.
  17. I'm puzzled on this one; this is not something I've seen reported before. Does it re-launch the same game when you click on a new game or right after it returns to LaunchBox? How long does LaunchBox display before the game re-launches?
  18. Any chance you're running out of space on your internal storage or SD card? Can you check both? Just had a report of it crashing in that case.
  19. Yes, I have something like 12,500 games and the vast majority of them have videos. There's not a memory leak related to VLC video playback. As I've stated previously though, Windows Media Player has gotten bugged out by Microsoft in the latest Windows or .NET updates (irritatingly) and does sometimes show memory leaks, so make sure you're using VLC.
  20. This should work for the Shield's network storage solution, but I've heard different things from different people, and I didn't have any luck setting it up myself. So not exactly sure for the moment...
  21. Hi slightly, currently, it will only switch to the SD card storage if you actually move a platform's data over to the SD card storage. So if you move the folder before you import anything, it unfortunately won't work to move everything over. So if you move everything over now, it should work fine. I do have plans to simplify this in the future.
  22. @TheNewClassics @deliyuerek85 Thanks, looking into the pause screen thing. We may have introduced that in a previous beta.
  23. @donarumo All image folders are customizable. I'm not sure why they would have gotten changed, but you can change all the image folders from Tools > Manage Platforms. So it sounds like somehow that setting got changed, which is causing the confusion.
  24. Hi Nabizzles, unfortunately the original GPD XD runs an ancient version of Android that doesn't support the proper APIs that allow for multiple storage locations. I have an item on my list to attempt to hardcode a solution though, so hopefully I can get to that here soon.
  25. Ugh, sorry to hear. I have reports from a few other users that 0.31 solved their problems, so we gotta figure out what would be different in your case. What version of Android is it running?
