  1. @Gizfreak Unfortunately Android is terrible at classifying games, so it makes it difficult to add games without other applications coming in too. That said, the latest version allows you to long-press on the "games" and delete them.
  2. Redream has been tested successfully, though admittedly not by me. It should be booting straight into the game. Is Redream all up to date? Do your games work in Redream if you manually load them up? Try changing the extract ROMs setting for the platform.
  3. That is how it works currently, as it overwrites the previous platform XML file. That is by design with the current version. You can export platforms separately, but you'll have to re-export entire platforms.
  4. I'm surprised this didn't come up too; I don't recall it being mentioned during the live stream or anything, but I could be wrong. I'll keep it in mind though, at least put it on my ideas list.
  5. We'll get something like an in-game list of emulators in once we allow adding new platforms on Android. There's currently no public poll or roadmap. I'll take requests any time though. Gotcha, yes, we'll add sorting options in eventually, probably along with a Sort Title so you can adjust it.
  6. Not likely. We're using the proper Android API calls for Android to tell us where the storage locations are. However, I think the version of Android on the original GPD XD devices is just too old to support multiple folders being returned. I'll be looking into it soon to see if I can manually check for /storage/sdcard1.
  7. The export process (and the Android app) have been out of beta for around a week now. I'll look into providing an option for not deleting the previous export first, but I can see that being prone to some significant issues for users who aren't overly technical.
  8. Not sure why that keeps happening @viking. FTP should be back up.
  9. None of that is planned for the immediate, so unfortunately it will require some manual work for the time being.
  10. FYI all, I just uploaded version 0.24 to the Play Store. Details are here: Also, details for the 0.23 release: I'm going to lock this thread now, so we can move discussion over to the 0.24 thread (since we're no longer on beta releases).
  11. FYI all, version 0.24 has been uploaded. Details are here: Closing this thread.
  12. To be honest, I am clueless on that. I can certainly add some emulators though if someone can get an emulator working properly. Just let me know what works.
  13. I just uploaded LaunchBox for Android 0.24 to the Play Store, and it should be available shortly. Here's the change log: New long-press menu is available in the games lists (either by touch or by holding down the A button on a controller) Games can now be deleted via the long-press menu in the games list, and you can choose whether or not to delete game media and/or game files Added Yabo Sanshiro and Yaba Sanshiro Pro emulators for Sega Saturn (now working properly) In between desktop development, my primary plan for the Android app going forward is to get it functional without the desktop exporter. Personally I find the desktop exporter to be the best solution by far, but the number of requests coming in for importing things directly on their Android device suggest that it should be a priority. So that will be my focus from the Android side here for a bit, starting with editing games and such.
  14. I've fixed and added Yaba Sanshiro (and Pro) back in for this upcoming release (uploading it now). Unfortunately though, I can't find any good information on DamonPS2 at all, and nothing I've tried seems to work. So I'm still stuck on that one. There is literally zero information on the web that I can find, so the only solution may be to contact the developer and hope that we get a response. I can see us adding in a Sort Title option like we have on the desktop at least. Let me know if you're still having trouble getting images in. Glad you're all set.
  15. @andyco47 We'll need more details if we're going to be able to help you with anything. I upgraded to .NET 4.8 because there were a number of bugs that were fixed by MS that do affect us.
  16. Thank you @alexposad. I have this updated for the next beta.
  17. Hi @Cauptain; that is part of the new Android app. It describes the style to use for the boxes view. Plain is a a plain white background currently, but it could be a dark background optionally in the future.
  18. FYI though, you don't need the beta release to use the Android export anymore. It's in the official 10.1 release.
  19. Yes, you can just export them to your SD card. As long as you use the correct folder, LaunchBox will pick them up from the SD card. You may have to delete the /Android/data/com.unbrokensoftware.launchbox folder from your internal storage though in order for it to use the SD card.
  20. Just go into Options in LaunchBox and under Updates there's a box to check to enable beta downloads. You may want to disable background updates as well. Then, once you restart you should be prompted to update.
  21. Hey all, just wanted to announce that I've uploaded version 0.23 to the Play Store, with the following: New long-press menu is available in the platforms list (either by touch or by holding down the A button on a controller) Platforms can now be deleted via the long-press menu in the platforms list, and you can choose whether or not to delete images and game files Fixed controllers not working properly after selecting Exit from the main menu and restarting This version took significantly longer than I was hoping to put out, because I had to basically reinvent the wheel to get the long-press functionality to work. But now that we have that mechanic working, it'll be easy to incorporate elsewhere as well (such as for deleting games). I'll also be looking to add some more emulators (and fix the ones that I previously removed) for the next version. Enjoy.
