Just to clarify, there are no errors. Only licenses that are pirated, but it's not always the fault of the end user. In this case, it was a hard drive seller.

Not currently. You could try making files read-only, but you might run into some errors.

Unfortunately Windows does not make that easy, because file permissions can be very complicated. This is a step-by-step process that should work though: https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/take-ownership-folder-windows-10-using-file-explorer

I'm not exactly sure how ThemeSettings.xml could be getting messed up or cause Big Box to not launch, but it if you're unable to delete it after a reboot (before running LaunchBox or Big Box), then there is definitely some sort of a file permissions issue. What folder is LaunchBox installed to? If LaunchBox doesn't have write permissions to its own folder, then it won't be able to run properly, so I suspect that's the issue.

Hi there, have you tried rebooting? What XML file are you trying to delete?

If you only want a certain set of games in your collection, all you have to do is only import those games. Then you can set Big Box to use All Games on startup.

Wow, that's a bit scary. I haven't seen Defender shut it down, but who knows. I'm not running 1903 yet myself (running 1809). I may have to rush out a new release if certain versions of Defender are tagging this one. Thanks for the report.

No problem, they should get rejected by the moderators. Unfortunately we don't have a way at this point to delete submissions. Just go ahead and submit the new ones and they should get approved instead of the old ones.

You would have to use playlists to combine things like that. It can be done, but might not be straightforward.

Apparently your settings are not updating; not sure why. If we were having that issue elsewhere I'd have a million people yelling, so it must somehow be a one-off issue. Is the file read-only or something? Maybe a permissions issue?

Hmm, what translation are you using? I have an idea as to what might be happening. If you open up your LaunchBox\Data\Settings.xml file, what does the <NoWelcomeVersion> line say?

That is normal, for a minute or two. However, if you kill it when you see it there, then you're not letting LaunchBox save and causing the problem.
