  1. Hmm, what is your image type set to under Big Box > Options > Images > Image Type?
  2. 3D boxes don't have back covers, so that would be why. Generally you can only "flip" box fronts and not 3D boxes. I don't think that changed recently, but I could be wrong.
  3. The next step would be to press Ctrl+A, and then F5 to select all games and refresh the images in LaunchBox. That will refresh LaunchBox's image cache for those games. My hunch is that the images are just showing up in LaunchBox because they're cached. Let me know if the images go away in that case, or if they still show up.
  4. @NicoDirkfan Please follow up with us and let us know if you're seeing any more issues with the 12.14 official release.
  5. I'm having trouble interpreting what you mean here; I believe we're running into some language barrier issues. Can you try rephrasing?
  6. The Steam video issue may actually fix itself if you turn on startup screens (or at least it's worth a shot).
  7. Scumbag Nahimic strikes again. Glad you're back at it.
  8. @Memorjs Do you know what theme you were previously using? Big Box shouldn't have automatically changed any of that on you, I don't think. Did you switch themes?
  9. @Jav1 Do you have the startup screen enabled?
  10. @Zkyo Sorry to hear about that; it's hard to say what exactly happened. In the future, if this ever happens again, an easier solution would just be to run the latest installer over top of your existing folder. That should fix any corrupted install issues without harming your games or configuration.
  11. Okay, do those games display box art in LaunchBox? I saw this recently after I deleted by Settings.xml and BigBoxSettings.xml files to reset all of my settings. What happened is that the media folders got changed as a result. So go to Tools > Manage Platforms in LaunchBox and check that your media folders are correct for those platforms.
  12. We'd have to throw away about 10 years of development and basically start over to do that lol. I would appreciate if folks would not make suggestions like this unless they really know what they're talking about. Because I get all excited that there might be an easy solution and then I go look into it, and it's just another obvious dead end. We are still very much wanting to tackle Linux, but still kind of stuck until some better development tools are developed, so it's a ways off.
  13. Please let us know if anyone else sees Neil's options issue above. After troubleshooting with him offline, it looks like it's some kind of .NET corruption on his machine.
  14. Does box art display elsewhere in Big Box for those games?
  15. Can you give us a screenshot of this? Also, check for the Nahimic service per @C-Beats above.
  16. LaunchBox for Android already very closely resembles Big Box, and video previews have been supported for a while now.
  17. Beta 8 is out now with the following: Translation updates More memory fixes when staying on the same view for a long time Fix for Big Box games views only loading the last game on rare occasions Fix for some rare errors while navigating platform views Fix for vertical wheels with only one item displaying incorrectly
  18. Awesome, good to hear and good to know, thanks.
  19. You probably just need to change your default sound device to the HDMI. Generally you can do that by right-clicking on the sound icon in the system tray and choosing Sound Settings.
  20. You can go to Options > Views > Games List View in Big Box to switch up the view globally. Or, you can bind a key or a button to Switch View to do it while you're in a particular platform. Backgrounds are called Fanart - Background by default. You can download them when you import games, or via Tools > Download Metadata and Media in LaunchBox (not Big Box). So make sure you have some in LaunchBox first.
  21. Thanks guys; I have all three translations in for the next beta. We are pushing out the official release until tomorrow (or Wednesday if we need to). @Opak To me, that looks like the typical video corruption stuff that we've seen many times in the past, either related to bad video drivers, or that horrible Nahimic service that destroys .NET apps. But that wouldn't make any sense unless you're also seeing it with the official release. Do you have the same issue with the official release?
  22. Hi guys, time to wrap up another release. We're hoping to put out the next official release on Monday or Tuesday. I didn't forget to update the release notes this time lol. Thanks again for all your work. @Kondorito @Cauptain @Nyny77 @Opak @dukeemu @cyanjiang @Just001Kim @MajKSA @gamehacker @alexposad @k_kutsugi @Bardock @Soomin papa
  23. The issue is definitely specific to using an external hub and/or flash drive for the storage. I'll see if there's anything I can do to support it, but unfortunately Android has been a complete failure in that regard recently, so I may or may not be able to support it properly.
  24. FYI, the next beta of LaunchBox for Android will have an option to manually add individual games in the main menu.
  25. I assume you're looking for Big Box themes? Keep in mind that a lot of Big Box themes will allow you to change the image type. If you go into the Big Box settings, you can bind a key or button to Switch Image Type. Then that will allow you to switch them up. Most (but not all) themes/views will allow you to do this.
