@dragon57 For the dark parts like the black figures in MMO, Coop, Multiplayer, Single Player, etc., it'd be best if there was a white outline or a a white glow around them or something. That way they won't blend in to the dark background. Either way, it's amazing to have all these gaps filled in.

Oh, also if you're missing playlist clear logos, you may want to go do a playlist clear logo image cache refresh in Big Box, as there are more default images provided now.

Any testing you guys can do on this new beta would be appreciated, especially in Big Box with the new playlists. Assuming all goes well, we'll probably release tomorrow.

Alright, so I had planned to release today, but was a bit frustrated because Big Box was so bare with the new auto-generated playlists. I made some changes/additions that really help to make it a more cohesive experience: - Improvement: Big Box will now use the parent platform's video if no video exists for the selected playlist or category - Improvement: Big Box will now use the parent platform's background images if no background image exists for the selected playlist or category - Improvement: When switching between platforms, categories, and playlists in Big Box, if the same video is used, it will no longer restart - Improvement: Many new default clear logos for genres, play modes, All Games, and Favorites have been added thanks to the community This primarily just helps to make things work better while the new categories and playlists are selected. Also, we are working on getting more default clear logos over here: Finally, I'm going to be releasing an updated version of the Unified Redux theme very shortly that makes it work much better with the auto-generated playlists as well:

Yeah, I haven't looked into it yet. I don't plan to fix it before the 9.0 release, unfortunately.

@rexryan The Stealth one is an obvious win. I like the All Games one better than the current one, but it's a bit too small to replace it. Do you have a bigger one by chance?

Nope! I had planned to release today but got caught up in some fixes. So I'll get this into today's beta.

Hey all, great work as usual. I went to put out the official release this morning but then realized we couldn't really demo the new auto-generate playlist features because we're missing clear logos for most of them. I hate to delay the official release, but it just feels empty without them. Thanks to @RetroHumanoid, @natemac00, and @RetroNi (and probably some others that I've missed), I have found a number of them already, but there's still a good number that we're missing. If anyone wants to contribute, I'd be very grateful. Here's what we're missing: Board Game Construction and Management Simulation Education Life Simulation MMO Music Party Quiz Sandbox Stealth Vehicle Simulation Visual Novel Cooperative Multiplayer Single Player And here's what we currently have: Even if we already have a logo, if you find or want to create something better (such as the simple Action and Adventure logos without any extra theming), go for it. Thank you so much all. I've been hunting around all day so far lol.

That is a cool feature request; I actually don't think I've heard it before. We have a long list of poll items to work on first, but I definitely think it would be a good feature to add to the next community poll.

Thank you all; I have all the above translations integrated into beta 11, which I just put out. Unfortunately though (stupid me) I forgot to add the release notes for 9.0 before I messaged you all. They're in there now but weren't previously, so it's up to you guys if you want to translate them and upload another package. So sorry for that.

Beta 11 is out now with translation updates and a fix for that PDF issue.

No, that's definitely not related to the black dotted line issue. Unfortunately I don't think that's an issue with LaunchBox at all. It should work already if you create a platform and set the paths for that platform before running the wizard. Let me know if not. This has apparently been broken for a very long time and no one has reported it lol. Looks like it must have gotten messed up when we grouped the additional apps into a popup. It's been fixed for the next beta.

@RetroHumanoid So sorry for the trouble here. The forums server ran out of space but I've fixed the issue. Unfortunately you'll have to re-upload these.

Are they all favorited games? I'm guessing that's why. I actually fixed/changed that in a previous beta, so the next official release should fix it if that's what's going on.

I do need to hunt this down and remove it. It happens on rare occasions when you use keyboard shortcuts (it's Windows' attempt to show keyboard focus).
