  1. Found that error and got it fixed for the next beta, @cammelspit. Were you getting errors or crashes anywhere else other than during consolidations?
  2. I can indeed replicate it @cammelspit! Thanks much.
  3. Thank you @cammelspit; testing.
  4. Nice! Appreciated @cammelspit. That could really help us identify the issue. Let me know reproduction steps ASAP if you can.
  5. Yes, in theory, it should. Honestly I don't have a good set of ROMs to test that stuff, so any testing you can do would be appreciated.
  6. @cammelspit Per the crashes, any testing you can do to help identify them would be appreciated. I suspect that they have to do with the VLC music and/or videos, but I'm not certain as I haven't been able to replicate any of it. Perhaps we can discuss it in the live stream tomorrow. Do you have auto-play music enabled? Per MS-DOS, that's a good point. I'm guessing DOS won't be supported for the official release, but I will add that to my list, as it should be feasible. Beta 9 is out now guys; here's the thread:
  7. Alright, beta 9 is out. Here are the relevant changes/additions: - Improvement: A new column has been added to audits that specify how many additional applications are on each game and links directly to them (should help with combined games going forward) - Improvement: When deleting games with ROM deletes enabled, the user is now prompted to delete additional application ROMs as well - Improvement: Disc number ROM file name parsing has been improved to support more formats, and side A and side B are now parsed as well - Fixed: LEDBlinky was not being sent Game Start commands for Steam and other URL-based games The only thing left to work on before I'd say we're ready for an official release is manual combinations and expansions for specific games (the ability to select a few games and manually combine them, or expand a game's additional apps out to separate games). We'll likely work on this in the live stream tomorrow. Other than that, I'll be focusing on squashing as many bugs as I can and we'll put out the official release here very soon.
  8. @Pacman56 FYI, I believe I've fixed those disc number parsing issues for the next beta (not out yet but will be later today). I'm also now parsing the side info per your file names; previously we weren't parsing it at all.
  9. It's already out!!!!!!
  10. Alright, I looked into this in detail. At least in the case of V2000, I've confirmed that it's an issue with the EmuMovies API. Basically, if V2000 is contained in the list, then no EmuMovies results are returned and an error is returned instead. I suspect that this is also happening for some other games as well; I've reported this to @circo so hopefully it'll be fixed sometime soon. @flores9 I agree that better reporting would be a good improvement. I'm pretty certain that the discrepancies you're seeing between individual downloads and bulk downloads have to do with this particular EmuMovies error. However, let me know if you're finding any discrepancies with downloads coming from the LaunchBox Games Database.
  11. Thanks for helping clear that up, @CriticalCid. Indeed, at least as far as I know there are no true differences between "different versions" and "clones" for MAME games. There's always a single game and its clones, and nothing more. @cZ8tL Thanks, but yes, I'm well aware of work done by the No Intro folks.
  12. Thanks for clarifying @arzoo; I think I found the issue. It looks like it was specific to Steam games (games that use a URL-type path instead of an actual file). I'll have it fixed for the next beta.
  13. For MAME, what is the difference between clones and different ROM versions? I don't fully understand.
  14. Stuff like the misplaced "The" words should automatically be handled by LaunchBox as-is, so that should be unnecessary. The only time when this is sometimes a problem is when searching EmuMovies, and unfortunately that's out of our control for the most part.
  15. Yes, consolidate ROMs certainly won't import any new ROMs; it will only combine together what you already have. If you don't currently have any duplicate titles, then it's not going to end up doing anything. There is space for more alternate names. You just have to click the link to add another one.
  16. Thank you @Wattoo, integrating.
  17. @brainimpact Yup, that is planned.
  18. One thing worth noting is that the Favorites and Recent boxes on the platforms screen can be cause for delays. Perhaps that's what you were experiencing @bikeking8?
  19. Thanks @tSRDazz, good to know. I think that slipped through the cracks, so it's good to have a reminder.
  20. Hi @Dazz, welcome. Yes, the feature does indeed allow you to view the game as a single entry on the wheel, and then choose which version you'd like to play from the list. That's exactly why we implemented it. This is of course only available in the latest beta though currently (though the official version is likely to be out in less than a week).
  21. We can do something like that if enough users are interested in it, but the feature is mainly just meant as a transition to the new format. You can just right-click on a game to see the different versions associated with that game.
  22. Hi @Ken, thanks for the purchase. I just tested the download emails and all seems to be working; what emails did you try? It may show up under Promotions in Gmail (or possibly spam). I'll send you a download link as well just in case.
  23. @bikeking8, sadly it isn't likely to do much to help scrolling performance in Big Box. Also, honestly I'm not convinced that anything has to do with having a K series CPU. The "k" simply means that the CPU is unlocked and overclockable.
  24. Probably not likely for 7.7, @Kevin_Flynn.
  25. It's the same as "combine".
