To be honest, I've seen so many "little guys" screwed by PayPal that I do not feel they deserve any respect as a company at all. Our company stance on the matter is that we feel it's our duty to inform the general public of PayPal's poor business practices. There was never any risk of litigation for them, simply a lack of caring, understanding, and effort, which is a common situation for everyone from eBay sellers to all kinds of small companies.
"Scum of the earth" is in fact a very accurate description of PayPal, and you don't have to look very far to see why.
