    Depending on how many votes it gets it may or may not get looked at soon. I pay more attention to the votes than the "major" or "minor" setting.

  4. @salyangel I have heard of that issue before, but it seems to be most likely a Rocket Launcher configuration issue of some kind. Window focus is handled by Windows itself and there's nothing I can put in the code to make Big Box "steal" focus (Microsoft got rid of this stuff for security and annoyance reasons), so we have to rely on Windows to handle it properly. It sounds like something in the Rocket Launcher process is just interfering with it. I wish I could do something to force focus back on Big Box, but unfortunately I don't think there's any good way to do that (without resorting to bad practices at least).
  5. That would mean that it likely doesn't have to do with the videos, I'm guessing. Sounds like it's sporadic. Nothing with WMP changed at all between the two betas so it looks like there's some kind of other variable that's coming into play. Also didn't change anything that has to do with the delay at the beginning, so odd results there as well. So, hmm. Perhaps I should do some testing on Windows 8.1 to see if I can reproduce anything.

  14. @qqmoreqq It's probably loading VLC. I assume the videos don't start up immediately?
  15. @zerohex Further research on that error suggests that it's a nasty series of Windows bugs that people have run into repeatedly with various applications. Supposedly though, it should be fixed. Are you all up to date with your Windows updates? Unfortunately if you already are it's gonna be very difficult for us to solve since it seems to be an OS issue.
  16. Hi @qqmoreqq, it looks like somehow your LaunchBox\Metadata\Metadata.xml file got corrupted. It should work fine if you just delete that file and restart LaunchBox. I'll look to see if there's anything I can do to prevent that though.

  19. Awesome @zerohex, appreciated. I trust you're on 7.4-beta-3? It literally just came out lol. Also, anything you can do to test is especially appreciated because I'm really hoping we can turn this beta into an official release and end the quick-fire release cycle that we've had over the past week.
  20. Alright guys, I have 7.4-beta-3 out now, with some extra safeguards against videos improperly playing in the background, and some various fixes for some rare errors from Bitbucket. I'm very much hoping that this is a good release candidate for 7.4. I'd like to get a stable 7.4 out before tackling any new features. In my testing it seems perfectly stable, but I really need everyone's help to beat up this release so that we can end the quick-fire release cycle. Thanks all.
  21. Hi @zerohex, please try the latest beta. I think I've got pretty much everything fixed, but I need to confirm before I put out the official release.
