  1. There really isn't much. If they were working on an older version of MAME, then add both versions of MAME to LaunchBox and tell the problem games to use that version instead. MAME is very very finicky.
  2. Ah, good to know. The ini with Desmume can change. It is a bit more annoying having to set up specific sets of emulators for a specific setting, i wish they allowed custom config loading or something like that but this works too in the end.
  3. It is in english, but we do have tutorials on RetroArch, and specifically TurboGrafx 16 and CD. PC-FX is pretty much unplayable and all of the games are in Japanese with no English or otherwise translation patch. So you'll really have no luck there.
  4. Well to really be able to do that would require developing the emulator further or coding part of the emulator or hooking in to it. The simple solution is config or command line arguments. You'd need to set it up per game outside of LB anyways, so setting it up inside of LB would be no different. It is the same logic that I use with RetroArch, except if Desmume has proper per-game command line argument handles (like screen orientation), or has custom config loading as well you can set these per game. Edit a game, and below the box where it shows the target rom is a command line parameters box. Here is where you can set up loading custom configs or loading specific settings through the command line. This is all predicated of course on one of these options existing. If they do, the fix can be very easy.
  5. The license that you purchase only covers you and your use of LaunchBox. If you own two or three machines that you want LaunchBox on, feel free to copy your license to your machine's.
  6. Neither am I, I generally don't have the need for AHK or other automatic solutions because I usually have my keyboard and mouse right in front of me. However, I am certain you can set it up to automatically run Alt + Enter, or get yourself in a situation where you can do a controller combination.
  7. Yea sorry, it is in LB. There are forum posts on this and should be easy to find.
  8. Yes, the program I said: AutoHotKey.
  9. Try a different key combination? I have no clue why it's doing this, but Alt + F4 closes program windows too.
  10. Well there really isn't a 1 size fits all solution, as you've probably already found out. Some emulators will allow you to remap controls and emulator functions to controller buttons, but most don't let you do combinations. Your best bet would be software that takes keyboard or mouse inputs and lets you assign a controller input to that instead. Xpadder is a popular one and I am unsure if Joy to Key is a good one, but I have seen it recommended.
  11. Can we? I don't think so right now. Looking through the custom filters and arrange by lists that doesn't exist. Should we? Yea, that is actually a super good idea, especially to help maintain a database. You should totally put that as a BitBucket ticket.
  12. Yea I meant Console. Is it named Super Nintendo (SNES), or just SNES? What ever you've named it try the import with Super Nintendo (SNES).
  13. What system are you downloading?
  14. There may be errors that we get right now that cab be attributed to the database still building it's self. Jason is still downloading data so if a bunch of errors are still coming in tomorrow then we know something is up, but for now there's no way to know if there is a bug or it is from data still downloading.
  15. The reason I chose Yabause out of the two is not because either has good emulation, but because Yabause is easier to use. In RA there is a swap disc function, at least for PS1. I don't know if it exists or works for Saturn.
  16. That's pretty much it besides that the links to the emulators and roms are correct and if it requires it that the path setting to the RA System folder is correct.
  17. If a game wasn't found before on TGDB then we don't have it either. In the future we will be fixing this.
  18. I knew you could re-map buttons, but that is exactly why I feel stupid.
  19. I feel really bad about my stupidity. I had just looked at the re-mapping function the other day too. I am glad this works for you though. I should probably play around with BigBox more...
  20. However, you can manually add Minecraft if you'd like. However you do choose to launch it you can always use the Add button in the bottom right corner of LB to literally add what ever you want. I still personally suggest the Curse Minecraft Launcher myself, but I don't know why I didn't mention this in my first post to you, I am sorry.
  21. So I'll assume the default is the X button, however there is a specific play button aside from the select button, so yes indeed this exists. Closing the Bit Bucket ticket. Thank you @niglurion https://i.imgur.com/qAX4g4y.png
  22. If that's the case, then thank you for informing me too. I don't use Big Box or a controller with LaunchBox UI for a personal reason, so if that is the case then I will close the BitBucket ticket.
  23. I can see how that could be useful, at the very least a "1 Click Play" check box in the options for BigBox. You're more then welcome to add stuff like this to the BitBucket page. Click Send Feedback at the top, this is how we prefer feature requests, they are easier to track and users can vote on them.
  24. I honestly don't know what you are trying to ask, but no we are not going back to GamesDB and you should still upgrade when it is available.
  25. I have suggested a small banner on the art or an icon that would suggest favoriting and completing games, and if something like that does get implemented it would still require it to be manual input. There's always a chance of adding what ever the users want. The best way is to create a ticket that we can track and users can vote on. Click the send feedback button at the top of this page. Also, there is already a way for you to sort games with the Custom Filters option and at the top of the regular filters. To the left above all your platforms is a drop down menu that says "Platform". Click that and change it To complete or custom. It isn't exactly the visual way you are talking about, but it at least gets the job done.
