@Jason Carr Editing images and names with right click and refreshing with F5 is now working properly again KUDOS for such a quick fix.
-
@Jason Carr since the last beta 6.12 2 and this current one, when you edit a game in LaunchBox (right click a game then edit) if you add an image you have or change the title of a game, when you click ok after all changes nothing happens. In order for the changes to show up you have to go to tools and refresh all images. ps sorry put in wrong post should have put in beta testing

I've noticed that too i use the option do no replace existing fields as well but it never seems to download any metadata especially notes for games that have no notes, but if i do them individually sometimes it does find the notes i am looking for which can be very slow especially with arcade games. But id say Jason will fix this issue before too long now retropalooza is over.

If you had LaunchBox since before 6.10 ie:-Version 6.9 you should still have the original LaunchBox xml directly inside the LaunchBox folder unless you deleted it, this is the file that Rocketlauncher is looking for. If your version is newer than 6.9 there will be no LaunchBox xml instead you will have the newer splitup xml files and will have to wait until Rocketlauncher redoes the plugin.

@Juzzotec unfortunately not that i know at the moment. You should create a Bitbucket ticket for that.
-
@Juzzotec In LaunchBox on the right hand side at the top menubar you will see Image Type click on your platform you want to audit, click on Image Type pick clear Logo's, Now holding the Ctrl button on keyboard click on each game you want to remove and when finished right mouse click and then delete. Make sure that you dont have delete roms set in the LaunchBox Options under General see screenshot otherwise it will delete the roms as well.

Guilty Gear x works ok but i've always used demul and the only way ive had them work are from the zip and the chd you point LaunchBox to the zip only but it wont run unless you have the chd, The zip actually is very small. -

Maddoc1007 replied to ckp's topic in Emulation
@ckp The guilty Gear xx plus games need the zip of the games plus the chd of the game put in a folder named the same as the zip, and be placed in the same directory as the games. -
@ckp go into LaunchBox, Menubar, Tools Manage Platforms and check and set the path for the platforms that are not showing see screenshot.

@cp3hd33 have you went into LaunchBox on the Menu-bar go to tools Manage Platforms, when the manage Platforms Box shows up Show where your Platform Video is for each platform, remember each platform must be named as you have them in LaunchBox/BigBox. See screenshot.

Personally i wouldn't like to see a delete ROM option in BigBox as predominately that is what LaunchBox is for, the managing of games while BigBox is the show WOW factor for when all is setup. Having a child who uses BigBox imagine having that option and a child lets loose what damage to all the hard work done to be too easily undone, Personally i believe having LauchBox as the the managing Software and BigBox as the show is the right balance and was the right choice by @Jason Carr

@kerszr If you use Gimp a good way of making the balls yourself is get a good quality image in png format as they usually consist of a transparent background, import into Gimp, resize the image to the same width and height, then on the menu-bar click on filters, down to distort, apply lens. when the lens dialogue box comes up tick the circle make surrounding transparent, then set Lens refraction to 1.70 or 1.80 and click OK. You now have made a ball from the image. Now just resize to 574 x 574 pixels.
-
@kerszr Here you go png of the ring, for the inner use a glossy ball or circle 574x574 pixels, for the Platform name underneath use platform Logo's etc.

@imdavid555 No its just the regular coverflow minus backgrounds with a little fun aspect to it.
